Great Course Conditions!
I play this course several times each year and it is arguably in the best shape I can recall in the past 25 years. Greens are smooth and running fast. My only negatives - some of the tee boxes are a little chewed up (but not unplayable) and there are a few wet spots around the course where the ground seems overwatered. All in all, well worth the money.
Golf with My Daughter
Everything was great. Love the course. The rough had some patchy spots and some traps were very damp and hard. Greens were smooth and true. The proshop person was great! Friendly and informative. I teed off at 7:12 and the only bad part was that the cafe was not open.
Half day round
Yeah the pace of play was extrimily slow you need a real Marshall to set the right pace because if is like that all the time I hate to plat over 5hrs rounds.
Gem in the hills
Prettiest course in the foothills maintained well and always getting better

Loved it. Amazing design and fun to play. Challenging but not too long even from the black tees.

Nice course in foothills, couple unusual holes will play again.
Nor Ready for Prime Time
Disappointing round of golf at Alta Sierra Golf Course. The greens had been freshly sanded, so short game strategies were useless. Every green was an “automatic two putt.” The tees were sanded as weak. The fairway was mowed high and balls were not always seen. The rough was impossible. We did not finish the round. Why bother?
On a positive note, the food in the bar was excellent and the staff very friendly and attentive.
The management needed to infirm the players if the course conditions ahead of time. GolfNow dropped the ball and wasted my money.
Oil slicks
The pace of play was fine, the course must have just been plugged. Greens had oil slicks on all holes from the machines. I’ve always liked the course, but I feel as if the money is not necessarily going back into it.
Hope for a better round
The course is in better condition and the greens are fast wich is good but they need to work on the drainning system a little better and please post on the golf apps if is cart paths only or 90 degree rule because sometimes is not wet and is cart path only just be honest on that but over all is good.
Challenging course in the rolling hills
Fun and challenging. No two holes are the same.
Course was on good shape for being early in the season. The 2nd hole is a bear, 430 yards uphill to a well protected green.
Nice driving range. Nic in the shop is great and gave a few tips. Go play this course!
Trying to be something you are not.
This course has a nice layout. The design is well thought out and a challenge.
By no standards is it a champion course or.even trying to be.
The grounds crew make it good for golf.
Go play it, say what you think, and put your opion in the box.
