Lots of challenges but still decently forgiving for new players.

Sand is softest sand ever.

Love the white sand traps…only in two,! Greens in Great shape. Good layout. I’ll be back to play this course again!

Course was very wet but not too bad for January. About half the holes (including Par 3's) were cart-path-only.

Our major complaint has to do with the condition of the women's bathroom. It was not clean and there were no paper towels. This has been a constant condition for awhile now.

A few ball washers and a few holes seems like a simple and cheap improvement. Some sort of yardage markers on every hole would also be a relatively simple improvement.

First time here and it was more beautiful than the pictures posted. Great driving range with the tracking tracer for each hit. Friendly staff. They offered to demo the newest Taylormade clubs which was really cool. Each hole was stunning . Some fairways were a tad wet/step on it and you sink a little bit what it’s winter what do you expect . Maintenance kept each hole really polished and great to play on. My girlfriend and I had a blast. We drove all the way from Vacaville and it was well worth it. We can’t’ wait to come back! 10/10 rating

Awesome course, awesome range, receptive greens, excellent sand in the traps, grounds crew deserves a pat on the back for handling all the recent water

Zero clubhouse but not a big issue bringing a cooler

Wouldn’t hurt to send a Marshall through every hour or so to poke some folks along, front 9 was wide open when I started, back 9 was waiting a few minutes every shot, not sure how that happened unless they let folks start on 10.

This is my favorite course in the area. Great condition and beautiful layout. Well bunkered. Only down fall is that the course does not have a club house, so you can't have lunch after play.

The layout is truly outstanding. Every hole is memorable. Elevation changes, interesting bunkering, beautiful views of the holes are strengths. The greens are challenging, and the recently reconditioned traps are splendid. There is no longer any clubhouse whatsoever, but if what you care about is the golf itself, play Darkhorse!

This is an incredibly beautiful golf course, in good condition with obvious improvements underway. It is challenging without being brutal. With some investement into amenities and attention to detail this course could be amazing! I like that they are low key but could use a bit more organziation with starting and scheduling. Gps carts, signage at the tee box with yardage and yardage markers- even if just on sprinkler heads are other suggestions. More rakes in the bunkers would speed up pace of play. I will definitely be back!
