About
Architect Roy Case created both courses on this new 36-hole, daily-fee facility that is located only 10 minutes from downtown Houston. In addition to the views of the skyline, Case had at his disposal a touch of Hill Country terrain with dramatic elevation changes, as well as the typical Houston- area prairie lands. From this he was able to carve the links-style Highlands Course and the more traditional Lakes Course.
As its name implies, the Lakes Course, which tips out at a par 72 7,016 yards, is loaded with water. The best hole is the 539-yard No. 7, which is listed as the number one handicap. Interestingly, the four easiest holes are the par 3s, which range from 165 to 218 yards.

Great Course, Marshall was a jerk.
Course is in great condition. The elevation changes are insane. Overall makes for a very fun track. Only problem I had was I hit a ball OB off of the tee box on a par 4, so obviously I’m going to take a re-hit for my 3rd shot. The Marshall pulls up and says “ you can’t be taking 10 shots off of the tee, there’s a single behind you.” I said “ Well when he catches up we’ll allow him to play through”. The Marshall caught us on the next hole and said “ you let him play through, right?”. He wasn’t behind us, sooo.

This course is well maintained and the greens were in great condition! I didn’t like the fact you have so many (4 or 5) blind tee shots but you’re going to get that with rolling hills. The course layout was beautiful and challenging! Great spot! I’ll be back!!

Wonderful experience
Good time had by everybody.
Took out of town Yankee guest for an outing before wedding And both of my sons
First time at the course for all of us.
Clubhouse staff was very very courteous friendly and went out of their way to help guide in maneuvering around the property
Starter was a real hoot and made us feel welcome and at ease going to the first tee
Course was in immaculate shape. Layout was super super awesome with each hole Simmang completely different than the one before.
Grange or crew and quick and any missed put it with your own fault. Skyline view of Euston and energy was spectacular and very impressive Pace of play was superb and the cart girls were generous and fun and made of a heck of a bloody Mary

Challenging course
This was my first time playing out at wildcat Lakes. It has a lot of blind shots and water on the course. The course is very manageable and the greens are in good shape. They are running relatively fast so if that’s what you’re used to you’ll do fine on the greens. Several visually intimidating holes on the course but they are very playable. I’ll be back!

Great Course
Course is in great shape! Greens were fast and rolling smooth. A lot of beautiful lakes and really awesome views of the city. I will be back again and would recommend to anyone!

Nice Track with Great Views
Interesting course layout. Lots of water on the Lake course. Good greens. Good condition. I played a wet course,, cart path only.
Fun play our
Course has lots of challenges. Played with a stiff wind to make it more difficult. Over all, well worth it.
Tee boxes and a couple of the fairway traps need attention. Having pea gravel in a trap is not a good idea. Only on two holes, but not ideal. Tee boxes need some love.....but all in all, great adventure.
Conditions
Course is in very good shape. Tee boxes could use some more attention, but overall, all was worth it. Only complaint, was the par4 on the front 9 (lakes course), number 5. Get rid of the pea gravel in the fairway trap. Other than that...all good.
