Wolf Creek Golf Course

I loved course. It is a little run down but so so scenic and the staff was amazingly friendly. Would love to see someone pump some cash into this place, has the opportunity to be a championship venue.

good golf course, greens were fast and touugh to putt.

The greens were rolling in the low to mid-teens and were impressive, but the undulation of the complexes made them damned near impossible to play. An uphill putt that comes up 6 inches short should not roll right back to your feet. I was impressed that the fees had dropped and there had obviously been some work done to the course, as I’ve always considered it over-priced. But, all four single-digit golfers in my group considered the play difficult to enjoy. I want to tell the greens keeper how good a job he’s done to get them that slick… but, they’re too slick and just not fun.

Course was in good shape.

But, pin placement on half the holes were not fair.

Miss putt and ball rolls off green 10 feet minimum.

This was my first round here. the course has a mix of holes, some easy, some very rewarding, some very challenging. It's very scenic (which I like) and there are some hole designs that I've not seen anything like it (I play a lot of golf). There are flat holes, and hills (going up and down). you have to carry water several holes which looks worse than it really it. The greens have lots of undulation which makes 2 putts challenging. The staff was very friendly - the club house is the worst I'd ever seen, cart paths need lots of work. But I paid to play golf. ust coming out of dormancy so I'd love to see it when it's greened up. beautiful course with plenty of challenges. expect 5+ strokes more than your average. Greens are in good shape.

the course was very wet and the driving range was closed. the pace a play was horrible. i can appreciate cart path only but at least rake the bunker and get a marshall to expedite play. the 18th green is the most unfair green i've ever experienced. spend you money elsewhere,

The course was in good shape. The greens were the best I have seen them in years. This however is an odd place to play. It seems as though the staff really don't want you there. The grille has morphed into chips and cold drinks only with self service instead of a cook. The pro shop was completely empty of any merchandise. oddly the side door to the grille was locked forcing you to walk to the front of the clubhouse to get in. Do they not want to sell drinks? Just a weird atmosphere in this clubhouse. Also the rang was closed.

Wolf Creek is a course I play each time I am in the ATL. From the layout to the stuffiness of the greens it is a very good course to play. I understand they are under new management and perhaps it will return to its star appeal of years past. If not, it is still worth me playing each time I visit.

The layout has always been good. The Staff behind the counter is very friendly. The regulars get the run of the mill. I saw 6 players with 5 carts and the rangers said nothing. Signs everywhere advising 2 Players to a cart. Luckily we were in front of them and there wasnt that many players out,

The Pro Shop attendant was nice. The course was in great shape for winter play. The greens and pin placements were extremely challenging which made the game a more thoughtful game. I was thoroughly impressed!! This was the 2nd time playing this winter and the course is just nice & challenging.
