Victoria Hills Golf Club located in Deland has jaw-dropping beauty. Golfers will appreciate Roland Garl's vigorous bunkering, which oscillates between the expansive and the intricate, depending on the hole. An array of pot bunkers, waste bunkers, native wetlands, water sprays, bunkers integrated within a natural setting, and elevation changes rarely seen on a Florida golf course await you. Victoria Hills could easily be called "The State of Florida's Garden of Golf,"- inland settings such as this are virtually unprecedented in this state. Yet while the splendor and natural beauty of the property are notable, this is not simply eye candy and lazy golf. Victoria Hills, as one player put it, "is a blast to play". In any evaluation, it's difficult to imagine how a golfer would not rate a round here as one of their most enjoyable in Florida.

Poor course conditions
Course was in horrible shape. Fairways were hard and bare. Greens were dried out. Would not recommend
This used to be a great course
I used to lover playing this course. Challenging layout with bunkers everywhere.
It has deteriorated into a local community course. Elderly couples taking 5 hours for 18. Single residents in carts jumping around to open holes. Greens are poor and fairways have the same firmness as the parking lot.
Not worth your time or money.
I like this course, usually
A couple of the greens were in terrible shape but mostly they were fine. The dry weather has left very sandy conditions on some fairways also. The variety of hole layouts and elevation changes makes this an interesting course to play, no same ole same ole....I will wait a while for conditions to hopefully get better

A GREAT group of professionals who remember you from past visits and provide a welcoming greeting every time. Their professionalism makes the start of the round very enjoyable.
Course Just Not Yet Ready
Haven’t played this course in over five years. Heard it was coming back and took the opportunity to try it. I was greatly disappointed. It started with old, cut up, mismatched, poor condition range balls. Most of the fairway was hardpan and only about half the greens were about average. The fifth hole was in horrible shape and should be closed down. It was not worth the 45 minute drive to this course. I doubt I’ll be back anytime soon.
Layout
This course is awesome. Love the layout and the back 9 on this course is one of my favorites. Greens need work but you can tell they are working on them.
No grass, tight lies even in the fairways
This is not what golf is supposed to be. Everywhere is hard pan, no grass, from a distance it looks green but you find the fairways are tight lies that look like it’s constantly driven over with cars and trucks making it the shortest grass ever.

Went to this course because we got it on the hot deal. Let me tell you this course is awesome. Absolutely beautiful elevation changes in Florida are not at every course. The staff was very friendly. Like I said we went because of the deal but I will be back here whenever I am close to this part of the state. I highly recommend coming here.
