Victoria Hills Golf Club located in Deland has jaw-dropping beauty. Golfers will appreciate Roland Garl's vigorous bunkering, which oscillates between the expansive and the intricate, depending on the hole. An array of pot bunkers, waste bunkers, native wetlands, water sprays, bunkers integrated within a natural setting, and elevation changes rarely seen on a Florida golf course await you. Victoria Hills could easily be called "The State of Florida's Garden of Golf,"- inland settings such as this are virtually unprecedented in this state. Yet while the splendor and natural beauty of the property are notable, this is not simply eye candy and lazy golf. Victoria Hills, as one player put it, "is a blast to play". In any evaluation, it's difficult to imagine how a golfer would not rate a round here as one of their most enjoyable in Florida.

Golf Pass beware!
These guys hate people that book on Golf Now/Tee Off! They claim they don’t get paid. Course is a great layout but conditions are below horrible. Total goat trail!
The course is still evolving. The upkeep is showing signs of improvement as the greens are in good condition. The fairways are coming back considering it's still winter. Good outing for the money.
Improved
Some greens had sand on the greens, they are eaving the greens long and slow trying to heal them. Fairways were OK in some spots but also very sparce in others. Very average to low average conditions. That being said. This course has a great. Interesting. Fun layout. Lots of character. If they can get some of course conditions cured this will be one of the best places to play.
Improving but still not ready
I have avoided this course for the last 2 1/2 years because of the condition that it has been in. I live in the Deland area and it’s very unfortunate, because this is a phenomenal layout. Every whole challenges you in a different way. Love the layout of this course, but unfortunately, the tee boxes are in bad shape but getting better. Fairways are greener, but still on the thin side. There’s not much rough as they don’t put any effort into the grass away from the fairways. The greens are green and they look great from a distance, but you’re putting on shag carpet. Extremely slow and a few greens should still be closed because they’re not even putt worthy. It’s getting better overall. But needs a lot more work. Hopefully they’ll get their act together.
Very enjoyable round
Victoria Hills is one of the best course layout with challenging undulation and elevation in Central Florida. Condition is getting better, plus the staff and its members made you feel very welcomed. Best value for a round of golf in Orlando area.
Improving
Course is improving! Conditions were alot better than I was expecting. Greens are a little furry but that sh9uld allow them to grow in.
Greens!
Love the layout of this course, especially the back 9. The greens need work though. Ive seen slight improvements everytime I go back. Overall the course is fun to play.
Greens suck. Lots of bare sandy spots. Worth a bucket of balls. No more. They can solve this problem easily by cutting down trees around the Greens. Too much shade.
