The Eagles Golf Club - Forest
About
Designed by Ron Garl and Gary Koch, the Forest Course at The Eagles Golf Club features the signature island-green sixth hole which rivals the famous 17th hole at the TPC at Sawgrass. The two outstanding championship courses at The Eagles Golf Club are kept in "tournament condition" year-round. As its name implies, much of Forest course winds through an impressive pine forest.

Pretty golf course
One of my favorite courses to play. Course in good condition and the greens were in good shape. Love playing this course and it lives up to its name.
Over booked.
It took 45 minutes before we could tee off on the 2nd hole. We decided to leave before teeing off on hole 2 and had to demand for a refund. They gave us a credit in the pro shop.
Still a great course
Not in the best condition I’ve ever played it, greens a bit iffy with a few weeds etc but the actual layout of the course (Lakes) is fantastic.
Hole #13 is deffie the one handicapper despite what the scorecard says!!!
Great Course-Poor Management
It’s a shame this course is ran the way it’s ran. Course was in good shape-not many complaints on the course itself. Pace of play is so awful. Tee times are too close together, too many players/groups that take their time with no situational awareness, and no help from the staff on even trying to keep the speed up. Only chance you have to play at a good speed is if you’re first on the tee box in the morning. Best of luck
Slow
Extremely slow pace of play. People have no golf etiquette and are rude and don’t know how to play. Very disappointing with pace of play, had to play the wrong course because there were no carts and way behind so missed tee times.
Staff needs to remind players to let faster players play through.
Had a great time golfing the course for the first time. Layout was good. Had everything we could have asked for at a decent price.
Not a bad course, just slow
Overall, the course was in good shape, the greens had some weed issues, but not too bad. I really wish I could give it four stars, but the pace of play was so god-awful slow. It took our group of three over five hours to finish the round. We waited on every single shot of the day for the group in front of us. They did some renovations late last year, and it paid off, but the price still seems a little steep. The range isn’t bad, but it’s too small for how many people they try and squeeze in. I will never understand why courses think they can do seven minute teetimes.
Need rangers on this course
We waited every hole and then finally threw in the towel at 13. As we drove back to the club house there was a group of six on 15, and no one in front of them, Played the 18th and went home..
Long course bring that driver
Played the Forrest course and I was surprised how long this course is .. wow . Lots of fun and course is very nice with great fairways and greens . Very impressive and will be back . NICE COURSE !!!!!!!
Money Grab
There was a youth tournament going on which had the Lake course backed up till after 3pm. Booked a 2:22 tee time on Forest course and didn't tee off till 3:05. Apparently all spots that we're available for public play were starting on Forest. Played and completed 13 holes before it got dark.
The eagles NEEDS to do a better job with bookings. We had a tee time at 2:15 pm and weren’t able to tee off until 3:20 because they overbooked. We got to the first tee box at 2:15 and there were 4 groups ahead of us waiting to still hit.
Dont bother
This place has become a big mess, from the management stand point.
I know that for some reason golf courses are very busy with people who has no business being out there, if you cant get off the tee box, take lessons.
Have the ranger do his or her job and move people along, dont just drive around.
The worse part they over book the course, they also send 2 some when they know the place is fully booked with 3 or 4 some.
We play 3 holes in one hour and a half, after almost 4 hours in 9 we quit.
You had a six person group behind us, and every tee is like a parking lot, if you would charge close to 200 bucks for a 2some at least make sure they have a pleasant experience.
The tee boxes are bad, they have been for over a year now, greens are not good at all.
I for the firs-time would not recommend anyone to bother with this 2 golf courses, we try the lakes last week it was the same thing.
Great course for a reasonable rate!
I played the eagles forest course and was very happy I made the decision to play here. The course is in great shape and has some really cool holes to play. The crew at eagles were really nice and very professional. The greens play very true and hold very nicely. It’s challenging for sure with some tight fairways and some water holes but plays fair for the most part. I would highly recommend this course to anybody who wants a nice course at a reasonable price 65$ with cart. Next time I’ll play the lakes course which I’m sure will be just as nice.
Dont worry about the people behind you keep up with the people in FRONT OF YOU.
