The Eagles Golf Club - Forest

It’s been a year so after hearing things had gotten better I decided to give the Eagles another shot.

Not much has changed…..

Greens are furry and slow

No ranger in the course to keep on pace for a round in less than five hours

Too many bare spots in the fairways.

Saw the cart girl once, on the 11th hole.

Spend your $50 elsewhere

Some of the greens, not so good.. Fairways just average.. Got to do better.

I booked our tee time on tee off and did not know that they were having a tournament that day. I got to the course and had a very hard time finding a parking place. I wish there was a note letting players know that it would be a 5 hour round to get finished. They told me after I started that there was 280 players that day. That is poor communication. The course was in great shape and the staff was very friendly. Can't something be done to make players aware of things like this ??????????

The course owners are clearly making positive changes. New tee boxes, greens being re-planted, new carts. It looks like the Forest is returning to its glory,

Many greens were half mud with the pin closest to the mud ( put the pins away from the mud

All tees newly sodded with loads of sand just flung on top of them

Pace of play kept me waiting minimum of 5 minutes every hole

Its been almost a year since we play there

The tee boxes where terrible, the greens were just bad.

This time, they have re-sod all the tee boxes and most of the greens are also in good shape or been work on.

Its looking very good..

The overall condition of the golf clourse spoiled the day for us. Teeing grounds were terrible, with some having no turf at all. The fairways were very inconsistent, and several greens were partly relaid and orthers have large bare patches. Also there were large patches of weeds, both on the fringes and the putting surfaces.

The course needs a lot of work to bring it to an acceptable standard.

First time playing and booked through Golf Now so this was a great value. I played the Forest course and this was beautiful with lots of wild life and a fun layout. A few of the tee boxes were being worked on, so some holes played shorter than usual but no big deal. Some tidiness could be used in the fairways and around some of the greens but all in all a very nice place to play!

Pretty ridiculous to charge full price for a course when not one tee box is playable and half the greens are under repair. Should at least have on golf now what’s going on… pretty upsetting to show up there at 8am on a Saturday and be told we’re playing course at 4500 yards and won’t be able to putt

Was not aware of maintenance being done on course. Price does not reflect a discount. Most tee boxes are not functional and everyone tees off from fairway. Looks like this will be an ongoing issue.

The course is very challenging. Exquisitely maintained. My son and I loved it

I played this course two years ago while visiting Florida and thought it was amazing. This time the course was under renovation but we we were not notified. All of the tees were together up close to the fairways because they were working on the tee boxes. This made the course very short and less challenging. I will definitely play it again once the renovations are completed.
