The Eagles Golf Club - Lakes

I had a 10am tee time, pull up to a line of carts on the first tee… our group didn't actually tee off until 10:21. Starter is just watching and tells you candidly that there are over 300 golfers out today. They oversell and book this course and as a result the course was fair to decent as tee boxes were sandy and greens are running slow and hairy. Would recommend a marshal as the 2 some in front of us ripped the cart all over their par 3’s hacking and hacking away and certainly never filling a divot. So many better options out there for a nice round of golf at their asking price.

There was a single guy in front of us and a single guy behind us. We joined for a foursome and the pace of speed was better. This is normaly thermonuclear of the proshop.

Tee to green conditions were very good, greens were running true and consistent speed throughout. First time playing, found a lot of blind tee shots to unexpected water areas and most greens were elevated. Pace was good, under 4 hrs.

The greens were in good shape and speed was good. The fairways could use more grass. Overall was an enjoyable round

Fairways are mostly good. Several tee boxes need work but overall everything was real good. Thanks guys

Very nice layout. The alligator crossing the fairway was a nice touch. Not as challenging as I thought it would be, phew. Fairways were typically Florida. Greens were perfect, not to fast, not too slow.. fairly straight, I over read the break most of the time.

Missing some services carts are not clean as usual no more water no or little sand provided for divots staff more interested in tips than regular service..

Certainly the best staff in the area. They are on the ball, polite and friendly.

I have played this course over half a dozen times within the past 2 months and the greens and fairways are improving every time. I am very impressed. This morning the greens were fast and smooth. They were really fun to play on. All bunkers were well maintained and raked. Great job maintenance crew.

The front of house staff really is great.

If you have never played them, the layout of both courses there is great and not generic at all.

Easily worth the money.

There are some patchy area in the green other than that I love the course.

They've had a lot of rain,ground is very saturated in many places in many holes. Greens are in good shape and will reward your aim if your on target. Not tricky, they roll true.
