The golf carts are in the decline changed carts 4 times for the range finder and map of course golf cart was really running down on power at 16th tee box limped back to the cart return not very much fun
Good course
Fun course with great views...I’ve played both the lakes and the forest....forest is a bit easier while lakes is prettier course
First time at Lakes
This section of Florida has had a lot of rain lately
Fairways and rough need to be cut more often
Liked the layout of the course more than the Forest….a little more wide open
The Forest course at the Eagle!
The forest side of the two courses at the Eagles is very challenging for all levels of golfers. My friends and I really enjoyed it today.
I've played many time
The course condition were fair due to all the rain recently so wet areas and areas of uncut grass. Give the course 1-2 weeks amd they should have it in outstanding condition.
They have a cart shortage and on busy Saturday or Sunday then hope you have a tee time before 1130 or after 2.
Shaggy greens
The layout was challenging. Of course was a little wet due to the weather. The greens were very fuzzy. Once the weather dries out this should be a very nice course
Pretty good
Course was wet and 90 degree cart rule but overall pretty good shape and fairly forgiving
Not a great experience
From the moment we got there the course was running 20 minutes behind on tee times. Once we did eventually tee off it was instantly noticeable that the course does not drain well as the entire course was soaking wet and had random puddles in the middle of fairways. The ruffs were overgrown and a combination of rock and overgrown weeds. There were tee boxes that we were unable to hit off of beCause how muddy they were. The greens were 50/50 either well manicured or awful with dead patches or puddles . Overall the course did not seem well maintained at all.
The pace of play was miserably slow taking almost 5 hours to complete the round. The ranger came back to ask how we felt about the pace of play but never addressed it again with the groups in the lead.
Little too wet
Not a terrible course if it’s dry but good lord. The rain absolutely killed this course. Didn’t drain at all and was basically a muddy mess. It’s definitely a great course if given the right situations, just avoid the rain..
Lakes vs Forrest
Lakes course is longer but Forrest is tighter. Enjoyed both.
