About
Located just north of Tampa Bay Downs, Eagles Golf Club features two 18-hole golf courses surrounded by more than 30 lakes, ponds and canals. Eagles Golf Club's Lakes course sports an abundance of water hazards, elevated greens and many fairway bunkers. Large oaks are scattered throughout.

Nice Course, but Not Worth Greens Fees
Course was in fairly good condition. Greens were hard and rolled very true. Bunkers needed care as no rakes provided. Fairways and tees were average to a bit above average in condition. Not worth $70 greens fee however. Pace of play was abysmal with no rangers at all. According to cart girl, pro shop monitors pace of play via GPS - doubtful. Our round was 5.25 hours due to chucklehead foursome and threesome in front of us who waited for each other on different tees slowing down things ridiculously. On one Par 4, they had three groups held up behind them. Call made to Pro Shop and no one ever came out to speed up play.
Starter was amazing the first time, but this time I was completely ignored as was my wife!
Really did not like the starter driving past me and my wife and I actually had to call him out as he passed us to drop off the cart to another person at their car (which should had been us first since we where waiting for over 10 minutes. ) then after I call him out he ignores me makes my poor wife walk up with the golf bag and clubs! Was not impressed at all! Then when we got to the starter and actually asked for a cart he just pointed and took off. Seriously big turn off!
A course worth playing
The course is nice the pace of play quiet slow (4 hr) I haven't played there in a few years but will go back again
Beautiful Greens
Tee shots were interesting and challenging. The greens were in spectacular shape.
pace of play hampered by 2 four somes ahead that were regularly searching for balls in woods and ponds. they made no effort to let our 2 some play thru. course had just fertilized all areas and the odor was strong.
the kitchen had limited food choice as they had run out of propane to cook
Greens were very good
If I had my choice, I'd rather play the Forest, but the Lakes is a good layout. The greens were firm but rolled true. The fairways could use more grass. Not a bad day though...
Lakes course
Course was in good shape for this time of year in FL. Greens rolled good and didn’t show signs of how over played they’ve been like most courses. Very pleased with the course conditions and always enjoy playing a round here. Back 9 got very slow and the guy who seems to be ‘in charge’ of your golf cart fate regarding when and if your allowed to take a cart is definitely lacking common sense and customer service skills.
Challenging course
Greens in good condition. Back 9 tight lots of trees most greens elevated and guarded by sand traps. Need to watch out for hitting through the dog legs pick the right line.
It's a smooth pace of play with good grass to hit off of.
The layout is above average & the greens are covered with good growth grass, no bare spots.
