About
Located just north of Tampa Bay Downs, Eagles Golf Club features two 18-hole golf courses surrounded by more than 30 lakes, ponds and canals. Eagles Golf Club's Lakes course sports an abundance of water hazards, elevated greens and many fairway bunkers. Large oaks are scattered throughout.

Greens were very good
If I had my choice, I'd rather play the Forest, but the Lakes is a good layout. The greens were firm but rolled true. The fairways could use more grass. Not a bad day though...
Lakes course
Course was in good shape for this time of year in FL. Greens rolled good and didn’t show signs of how over played they’ve been like most courses. Very pleased with the course conditions and always enjoy playing a round here. Back 9 got very slow and the guy who seems to be ‘in charge’ of your golf cart fate regarding when and if your allowed to take a cart is definitely lacking common sense and customer service skills.
Challenging course
Greens in good condition. Back 9 tight lots of trees most greens elevated and guarded by sand traps. Need to watch out for hitting through the dog legs pick the right line.
It's a smooth pace of play with good grass to hit off of.
The layout is above average & the greens are covered with good growth grass, no bare spots.
Fun day
Nice course. A lot of dog leg lefts and decent length from the whites. I hit a few through the fairway and hid to pitchout so take a little off your driver. Greens and fairway in nice shape and the staff was great.
Eagles Lakes Course
I enjoy playing both the courses at Eagles. The grass on the tee boxes, fairways, and rough wasn’t as nice as usual but I’m sure it was due to all the rain we’ve got recently. The greens played slow but they are in great condition .
Great value
Great value. One of the better course conditions. Slight delay on tee time because not enough carts.
Keep it in the short grass
Greens were excellent, rolled nicely, minimal divot marks. Keep the pin high or below the hole. Tees and fairways decent, traps a bit rough as there aren't any rakes. Area around greens extremely thin abmnd could improve as weather warms. Benefit to know the course .
