The Eagles Golf Club - Lakes

Never ever should have the course open. It was so wet that in some spots, water an inch deep was across the fairway. I finally gave up and did not keep score. I was told when I got in that they should have closed the course and not have anyone playing. I was told that they never close the course. It was travesty.

Called the lakes. The lakes were the fairways. Cart path only? No problem, but I felt bad walking on the fairways they were so wet. It was local and relatively cheap for a 715am tee time, but not worth it. I will probably have to buy new shoes after this one... On top of all that they haven't cut anything in a week cause it's so wet. If your ball wasn;t plugged you were looking for it in the shin high rough. And probably some of the slowest greens i've ever played. Course is gimmicky as well, which I didn't mind.

Lakes Course Condition today was unplayable. Fairways were water logged. You were standing in water everywhere. No room for relief trying to play lift clean and place rules. Greens were also saturated. Course management should have offered half off of green fees.

Great Hot Deal. The course has some funky doglegs. Tees need lots of work. Fairways decent, some pretty narrow ones. A few greens on the small size which I liked. Firm and fast. Long par 3s. Rates a 4 out of 5.

Plenty of grass in the fairways and around the greens. Tee boxes were below average. Nice layout with lakes not coming into play very often. Greens were great for putting but a little firm on approach shots. I would recommend this course for everyone.

We played on the day it poured on our drive there, our feet were soaked on the first hole but the course is beautiful lots of nature , wildlife, we felt like we had the course to ourselves

Had to go back next day and play it dry, it’s in very good condition would go back

Good condition, the only draw back for us it started pouring rain about 30 min before we arrived and the course was just saturated of course cart path only which is understandable but it also makes it a little unpleasant to be expected

We have booked to try again tomorrow hopefully it will be dry crossing our fingers as we would very much like to play it on a dry surface

Lots of dog legs Greensboro well kept their ways very good bunkers very good awesome for the price

foursome in front of us really slow, they were told mutiple times by the ranger to speed up. However this never happened . they were literaly holding up a half a dozen groups behind . I dont beleive they were ever told to allow other groups to play through .

it becomes to frustrating . waiting in the fairway to hit your 2nd shot to the green your whole foursome plays thier 2nd shot and then plays the green ,

then when your ready to play the next whole

the group infront still have not even completed their t shot . This course need better pace of play enforement.

Course was in good shape , but not sure i make the drive to play it again anytime soon

Not only has the Eagles management team invested money in upgrading the clubhouse but the courses themselves are in great shape. The Lakes course which is what we played yesterday has greens with are sneaky fast. Definitely a fun round of golf.

The course was a good value the greens were good shape but the tee boxes were very rough The fairways were good shape alot of wildlife gators birds turtles Find a hot deal during the week $25 prob wouldn't pay more that that to come and play here again

Course is in great shape, and the greens are rolling faster than I’ve ever played it. The staff, including pro and cart guys, are super courteous. Several tee boxes could use some leveling. Highly recommend!
