About
Located just north of Tampa Bay Downs, Eagles Golf Club features two 18-hole golf courses surrounded by more than 30 lakes, ponds and canals. Eagles Golf Club's Lakes course sports an abundance of water hazards, elevated greens and many fairway bunkers. Large oaks are scattered throughout.

Good Value for your Money
Played the Lakes course. The front nine fairways were some of the best I have played in the area. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for the back nine which was disappointing. Greens are in very good shape. Tee boxes are not level so be aware. Compared to other courses it is the best value.

We booked The Lakes course and due to wet conditions were moved to The Forest course. It was a tough course with loads of hazards. We'll be back but will again book The Lakes course.

Played the Lakes, Was in great shape for this time of year. Will play again.
Kicked off before could finish our round...
Used to be one of my favorite courses to play, but was royally screwed over by the staff this last time. The pro shop, cart barn staff, and even the starter "forgot" to tell us about a 12:30pm shotgun start scramble. We we're approached on the 15th tee box and told we needed to be on the 18th green in 20 minutes or we had to leave, so clearly we weren't able to finish our round. When we asked the pro shop their explanation was, "Yeah we probably should have told you." Was a really big bummer when having friends in town to play golf and you can't even finish your round...
Excellent Conditions
The owners and staff have done a great job getting this course in excellent condition. Tees were over seeded , greens were fast.
The course was fun to play. Challenging from the white tees for me abd I am a 14 handicap.
The fairways could use sone overseeding and the fairways were very soft so little to no roll. The greens were in excellent shape and rolled well.
Great greens; good pace; good value at $19
$19 Hot Deal, mid-day, on 12/26. Foursome took just under 4 hours; very little waiting; good pace. Greens are fast and true. Fairways are reasonably dry considering amount of rain in December. Course knowledge can be very helpful in numerous places. Carts are electric, with GPS; helps a lot with yardages. Pin locations on cart. Almost all the greens are elevated, which helps with drainage; but almost all are tilted away or elevated so much that you often do not see the shape or contours or exact flag location from the fairway; that's about my only complaint with this course. Nice upscale neighborhood. Allow a few extra minutes to go thru guard house and wind thru development to get to clubhouse.

Huge rains a few days ago but the course was for the most part very playable!

Course was is good shape. Greens were smooth and pretty fast. The course was wet from all the rain but still very playable.

One of my favorite courses. Back nine is extremely challenging!
