Seaview - The Bay Course
About
The Bay Course is one of two 18-hole courses that the Seaview offers. Designed by famed golf course designer, Donald Ross, it was the first course of the resort and it is also the more famous of the two. Over the years, they made renovations but it was eventually restored to Ross' original links design.
The greens are small and undulating and the Atlantic winds definitely play a huge role in the game. The 2nd hole is the signature hole with a yardage of 432 and a par of 4 that can where the ocean serves as a hazard. Seaview's Bay Course also hosts the ShopRite LPGA Classic.

Bay Course
Course was amazing! Keep it in the fairway or you will be penalized! Just remember to bring bug spray, green heads are coming for you!
Interesting layout
Enjoyed playing this course. Don’t have to be a long hitter to score, but need to stay out of the bunkers and deep grass areas. From whites par 5’s are all under 500 yds, and there are some short gettable par 4’s if you position yourself properly. However 3 of 4 par 3s are longish. Greens are in very good condition.
Clean up in aisle 5
The bunkers were in horrible shape. There was a storm a few days before I played and they should have shut down to repair them. I know they’re getting ready for the LPGA in October but you pay a lot to play and they should make it more playable
Paying $105 for rain showers
Paying $105 for rain showers After the third hole they put on the water sprinklers continuing our play for every hole until we couldn’t take it anymore and we quit after the eight holes I was drenched did they ever think about turning on the sprinklers at night time or before people show up in the morning
Rather not play golf than play golf at Seaview Bay
I rolled up to the snack bar before my round and was served an ice cold hot dog. The day only went down from there. We ended teeing off 30 min after our tee time because they were running late. Course used to be an immaculate gem 20 years ago. Conditioning was horrible. Group in front of us kept hitting multiple (ie 4) shots per person , even from the tee, even when we were waiting behind them. Seaview Bay is the worst of golf: expensive, poorly conditioned, bad staff, no rangers, 5 1/2 hr round after half hour delay. The guys we played with said the Pines was much worse. Save your money. Nice layout if a bit boring, good views of AC. Someone needs to buy this place and spend money on the course.
Just fine
This is not a $100+ course anymore. Played the Bay Course, Started 20 minutes behind and still had a 5-hour round. Tee boxes are heavily worn, bunkers were very firm and greens were good at best. Rough was downright unplayable, even the "first cut." Obviously the layout and scenery are great, but I can't imagine playing well over $100.
Nice classic course
A very pleasant course to play-designed by a master. Amenities were understandably thin and the path from hole to hole on the front nine needs work.
A very sweet course however.
Nothing beats golf by the sea
Nice layout. Beautiful design. Poorly marked, very little signage. Poorly maintained traps. Can’t find your ball 2 feet off the green. Would be an awesome track with a fore caddy.
Not worth it
I paid $50 on GolfNow and honestly, it wasn’t even worth that.
I can’t imagine paying rack rates for that experience.
The greens were SLOW and the tee boxes need to be COMPLETELY rebuild.
Imagine teeing it up on an uphill/ downhill lie on every tee box.
Greens are brown
I was there three weeks ago and it was beautiful. Today 14 of 18 greens are in trouble.
Good course - just overpriced
Played for a online rate of 74 when normally this tee time ranges from 100-125. It’s a good course with nice views but it’s just not worth 100+. Bunkers in very mediocre shape and the tee boxes were just okay. Besides thats it’s a good course. Just too expensive.
Classic Layout
Great course in great condition especially if you love classic golf courses
Enjoyable place
I played while in the area and I enjoyed the round. Definitely played tough when wind came up. Conditions were excellent as was pace of play. I’m not going to say that any hole was world class or that it warrants $100 but is solid
