Seaview - The Bay Course

Seaview Bay Course is always one of my favorites. It's much different that most courses in NJ and in turn plays very different as well. Winds were close to 20 MPH when we played which made it a little more difficult, and if you miss the fairway you're looking at a challenging 2nd shot if you even find your ball. Course was in spectacular condition (played a few weeks after the LPGA). I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Great course just wish the greens were fast or even

close to how the public would prefer them...

Oh not too mention the darn green head flys

that were on the water holes close to the bay .

What a shame this could be a great place to play.

I will NEVER go back in July or Aug again.

Nice course, overall conditions were great.

Followed the slowest foursome ever. If they counted strokes it had to be over 200 each. 2 guys took four strokes to get to the ladies tee. Even the lousiest muni has better pace of play

Beautiful course. Best greens in the area. My only complaint is the over abundance of tall grass. The tall grass ( not the rough) at times was less than 10 yards off the fairway. Made play difficult and slowed pace down since groups were always looking for their golf ball

The course was set up for the ladies tournament going on next week, and when I say it was amazing that kinda feels like an understatement. The condition of the course could not be better.

Checked this beautiful bay course of my bucket list. It did not disappoint.

Last two-three years greens have been poor. Aerated over a month ago and still bumpy and soft. Basically couldn't get a true putt.

I have played this course many times. I usually have a great experience from tee to green but unfortunately the greens were not in good shape. According to staff, they were "plugged" a few weeks ago. The course itself was in nice shape but every green was very bumpy and frankly unfair to putt on. Still one of my favorite courses in the area but you may want to consider waiting a few weeks for the greens to improve for a more enjoyable experience.

I have played the Seaview Bay course numerous times and have never been disappointed. Everything about this course makes it a "must play" for anyone who loves golf. Besides the excellent course conditions, layout, fantastic greens and amazing views, it is an iconic venue rich in tradition and history. If you ever have an opportunity to play here, you will treasure the experience.

Went to Atlantic City for a convention and happened to get some decent weather for mid-march so decided to get a round in. Didnt realize that the LPGA plays this course every year so I was immediately excited to play once I learned that. Some water views and a nice view of the Atlantic City from a few of the holes were very nice. Fairly windy which made some shots more challenging. Course was pretty wide open so plenty of room to spray it, if that is your game! Greens were terrific and in great shape for so early in the year. I was very pleased with my round and hope the weather next year allows me to play it again.

If you have the chance to play the Bay course, please do. The course offers challenging greens and wonderful views. Lots of sand ,so hit it straight.

*0 degrees on 3/10 - can't beat it. AND, only $40 for the round. Course was in good shape. Shot my all time low on the back nine. Would play it again!

Took discount rate through Golf Now. Course, especially the greens in very good shape for early spring in NJ. Par three holes al had temporary tees which was not made known at beginning of round and it was difficult to determine the exact yardage for those holes. Played in just over 4 hours - no waiting to tee off - group behind us was back at least one hole for the entire round. Beverage cart came by once per hour but no other on course amenities.

it snowed on Friday and the course was closed Saturday and Sunday. I played on Monday and the course was in excellent shape for March. The fairways were like summer condition. It's always a pleasure to play at seaview using Golfnow.

I get to AC a couple times a year and this course is always on my list of potential plays. I was lucky enough to get a good "off season" hot rate and decent, if cool weather on this day. The bag drop was easy to find, but the parking is a bit confusing and a little walk from the pro shop. The pro shop staff was cordial and gave me dieections to the first tee, which is about a 200 yard walk across the street. The staff met me there with the loaded cart and gave me the rules. I was then on my way. I really enjoyed the links style layout and the views are spectacular on a few holes. I knew this was a Donald Ross course, but was unaware it was a regular LPGA stop. Course conditions were good, considering the time of year and they had maintenance guys out working on a few traps. The carts were electric and well maintained. I didn't have a chance to sample the food, so I can't comment on that. All in all, it was a great experience and I'm looking forward to playing it again when I come down in April.

Course was in great shape. Couldn't beat $29. Will be $79 in a few weeks. Hopefully the lowers rates will still be offered on Golf Now. Not just when they need us. Be nice to play a warm round at Seaview for same price and not tee off at 530pm for that price. Overall. Good shape for March 1st. Had good time.

Course in good shape for February . March. Unfortunately for paying golfers, the place seem to have a lot of members that play quite slow and are not cognizant of anyone else being on the course. 3 hours for 9 holes in very cold weather is not enjoyable. We had a 5some of members in front of us that caused us to play with 20 minutes in between shots. No ranger in sight and no one in the clubhouse as they shut it down at 3 pm as I was told. Other than that, it is a nice challenging course.

Bay Course was very wet from heavy 2 day rain. Cart path only so walked & carried in drizzling rain enhancing the overall experience. Greens in great rolling condition for this time of year .although course does not drain real well. Some greens were puddled around the hole. Wind off the Bay can make for extra club selection. Clubhouse and bar are charming with warm feeling of well aged elegance. Pro and staff are very friendly and accommodating. No matter the season or conditions I love playing this 1914 gem.

Classic design that puts a premium on hitting your ball in the fairway. Good mix of holes from short to long par fours and threes. Wind seems to be common factor and when it is blowing hard, play can be very difficult. Cart path only seems to more usual than not. But even with these problems,the design by Ross makes it a pleasure to play, and will even be better when the greens are smooth again. Staff were very helpful and informative.
