Beautiful layout
We played this course during our Thanksgiving vacation in the Durham area. It was a fun, challenging, beautiful course. I highly recommend this course. Staff was friendly. Check in was simple.
Not my favorite course
Was somewhat disappointed in the course. "Hard" is the operative word. Hard layout, rock hard greens, fairways hard and cut very close. Some tee boxes in poor shape. About 1/2 the sand traps (and there are many) had coarse compacted red sand, very tough to play out of. Greens on the small side and some really tough pin placements, some borderline unfair. Clubhouse and snack bar are fine, driving range right beside clubhouse is nice. Staff was fine. Pace of play was good. No marshal on course, nor beverage cart..

Davis Loves it
Made it through hole #1 and it was smooth sailing from there. Fairways were perfect. Rough was playable and the greens were consistent throughout. I would still like to see Davis birdie that first hole. Lol

Great Day at Perserve
After traveling from New York, I was happy to hear the course was open for play
The course was hit with 8" of rain the day before. Cart path only, no range or practice area open. The course was seriously wet and messy. It made it extremely difficult. However, beautiful layout, greens were understandably slow but beautiful. Sun came out, 18 holes with my son, cant ask for more

High handicap view
Excellent course, but very challenging. Balls must be hit in the fairway, so bring extras. Course conditions, pace, staff, facilities were very good

Tough course
Be sure and pick up hole guide at pro shop. It will show you your targets. Many dogleg holes. Some inconsistency in green speed but overall great course. It says it’s an advanced course and it is with blind shots and severe elevation changes. I enjoyed the challenges.

Rolling layout
The course was in great shape and well maintained. Lots of rolling hills with well cared for fairways and greens. This course will challenge you if you don’t stay in the fairways.

Challenging but fun to play
Played this course for the first time. It was a beautiful day. The pace of play was great. The foursome in front was a little slower but overall we moved. This course is for an advanced player. It is challenging but also fun to play and very scenic. The greens were interesting. Sometimes fast and sometimes slower. This was the only downside. It was hard to judge the greens. Overall, loved the course. I recommend it.

Sunday Morning Round
Course was in great shape. Pace of play was 4hours. Best pace in last 4 rounds played there. Will be back.
