Fair test of skill for a short course
Audubon is always a great round. Took about 3 hours. For a short course, it is challenging enough. The scenery alone is worth the money.

Too many par 3
There are only 2 par 5’s and 4 par 4’s all the rest are par 3’s and numerous are under 100 yards. Not fun to tee off with an iron or wedge more than twice as much as a driver. Waaaay too short!

Amazingly interesting
For a par 62 course this one has an outsize appeal: beautiful vistas, water birds galore, and interesting golf challenges. I liked this course better than the South Course at City Park.

Pretty executive course in the heart of NOLA. Challenging par 3s, one short par 5 and mostly short par 4s. Very nice restaurant with ‘veranda’ to relax on after the game.
A lot of fun in a beautiful park.
Had a great time here. It’s a super unique little course that’s inside a great community park. The restaurant / bar shouldn’t be skipped afterwards either.

One of New Orleans' Best
Due to the climate, New Orleans has a very difficult time maintaining any golf course in top notch condition. I continue to hunt for the well manicured course. Audubon is pretty good, and maybe the best maintained course in the metro area. For a relatively short course, Audubon is plenty challenging. If you think your short game is good, test at this couyrse.

Lunch and a round of golf
I had a delicious lunch outside on the wooden deck before playing 18 holes with a lifelong friend. Course was in great condition save for the bunkers. They could use some work. I thought all the greens were in great shape as were the fairways. Some of the tee boxes were a little rough, but nothing to complain about really. Pace of play was acceptable as we finished in 3 hours. Thanks to the group of kids who decided not to play in front of us on hole 10.

Hidden Gem
Where else can you take a streetcar to your round on a course almost 125 years old? Sure it can be a little rough around the edges, but it’s a muni that went through a hurricane recently. Holes are fun, scenery (oaks, surrounding city, birds) great, and your round is 2.5 hours. Don’t take yourself too seriously and go have a great time for a great value.

Low staffed like everyone else
They’re lowly staffed like everyone else. But I feel they could have done better about overbooking. You choose a par 64 course to be finished fast. Not to be waiting at tee boxes. Fairways are still in decent condition. Greens could definitely be better.
