Poorly Managed
Despite being a beautiful course in fair condition, I would never go back unless operated in under new management. There were groups as large he as 10 players on a single hole. It took over 4 hours to play 3,800yd par 62 course. On a 90+ degree day they had no water on the course or water available to purchase.
no Cart girl, no starter and no marshals
They need to get the cart girl back if your not going to allow anyone to bring their own drinks. Also they could use a starter and Marshals to keep the game moving. I had to play behind a six some and five some that didn’t even offer me and my partner to play through. So we just bypassed them and skip the hole and continued play.. I’m even thinking about volunteering to be a marshal every other weekend.

Great short course
12 par 3 holes make this a short game work out. Don't need the driver much, but your short irons will ger a work out. Lots of fun.

Not bad
It’s a par 62 executive course so it’s kind a fun to say I shot 74 and stop there.. the greens were painfully slow and had some bare spots but the bare spots were usually around the edges. The layout was a little tricky for me since I had never played the course. I played to the wrong green once and a couple of holes needed better signage pointing which way to the next tee when you needed to backtrack. The course was fun and very short. Its a good type course to work on your short game.

Neglected
This is a very good course but it has been greatly neglected. I will not return to this course until it is better maintained. There were tee box indicators and the greens were the worse I've ever seen them.

The place was so backed up that I had to skip about five different holes. No starter no Ranger. I even asked the guy behind the counter if I could have a Styrofoam cup with ice and was willing to pay for it and he said sorry we don’t have any cups. Why would anybody play golf at a place like this

Fun but short
The course is mostly par 3s. Which I enjoyed.
The greens were aerated and the tee boxes were not marked thus the lower scores. I had fun but was glad I got a discount from GolfNow.

Nice layout
First time playing this course. Love the area that this is located in. Would definitely play again. Only thing bad was no restrooms open on the course and no T markers on the tee boxes. Friendly staff.

Historic, Challenging and Beautiful
The course and surrounding park date back to the late 1800s. It's layout is smart (use of space) and challenging (around the water hazards).
The surrounding park (a walking/riding path surrounds the course and is heavily used) is beautiful with old growth trees and ponds full of ducks.
Try not to let the occational trespasser, jogger, walker or dog walker get you down as they tend to wander onto the excellent cart paths.
CARTS MUST STAY ON THE PATH SO YOU MAY WANT TO WALK THIS COURSE. I rode one day and walked the next. I preferred the walking.
Physically challenged people may get to leave the paths with a handicap flag. Call first regarding this last point.

Don't play this course.
There were no tee markers, no water in the ball-washers, no water to drink, and ball marks on the greens that had obviously been there for months.
The worker in the pro shop told me there were 14 employees pre-Covid and now there are 4, with no plans to hire more at this time because of Audubon budget restraints. She said they don't even have employees to put tee markers out.

Glad I didn’t get hung up on the total yardage of the course. Thoroughly enjoyable and used about every club in my bag. Great course to walk and beautiful!
