Great little course
An executive type course with some medium to long holes mixed in. The conditions were very good, greens were smooth. Everything was well maintained.
Slow play
Without warning, coming off the ninth hole, noticed several groups teeing off in front of me on number ten. After asking around, found out the front nine was being closed for a tournament.
Staff should have mentioned this when I first got there. Call ahead before reserving a tee time.
Fun times
Well maintained course, decent pace of play, beautiful scenery
This place is amazing!
I love the course and I love the grounds which are kept in excellent condition. The staff is great and all the people you meet along the way are beautiful. I love coming here to play on a daily basis
Just jealous
I play a lot of destination courses for my "job." But I can't think of a better course I'd love to play every day in my neighborhood than Audubon Park. The 18-hole routing is genius: each nine has six par 3s, two par 4s and a par 5, so you can use all the clubs in your bag. The parklike setting in Uptown is sublime, and Will and his crew keeps the course in great shape despite a lot of play and unpredictable Bayou weather. It's tough not to see some of the houses on the perimeter of the course and daydream what it would be like to have this gem in your backyard.
NOLA has small but solid collection of courses to play in town, but Audubon, despite being a short course, should be at the top of the list.
We ate at nearby Camellia Grill before the round and wanted to go to Jackelope's after but the line was nuts. Ended up at Atchafalaya for dinner instead, and it was excellent!
Audubon Golf
Awesome. The new management have really turned the place around. In the past the old management always seemed to find a way to really insult and degrade you with an attitude. The only attitude the new management has is to please. Hope no one finds out and makes it too busy but they deserve this accolade. Well done and thanks for getting rid of the old obnoxious staff
Breezy but Eazy
It's December so the morning began with a huge breeze. By noon it was all bright sunshine and lovely green. It's a short course; plenty of landscape to admire while you're at least making bogey and not hammering in the ground your 7iron on long dogs. Beer cart came around 3x, a just proper amount. You can grab sammies at the club or even something more ambitious. At the 19th hole you get a cold beer for your score. Shoot low, drink high!
Play on slow golf days
Good - Beautiful grounds interwoven in uptown New Orleans. Walkers, bikers and runners surrond course.
Bad - Small course. Pace of play extremely slow with impatient golfers.
Indifferent - Only used woods on two holes
Course was great.
Course is par 62. Lot of Par 3s which is good to work on the short game. Saff was friendly and helpful.Course was in great shape even though it was cart path only due to rain two days ago. Still played great, no standing water.
Played quick, great conditions.
Played in just over 2 hours. Course in great condition.
Fun ,well kept course
This is s great course to play when your time is limited. Friendly staff and course always in good condition.
Good value
Course has good variety of shot distance used all clubs in bag at least once.
They try to keep pace quick but they overbook a bit
