Audubon Park Golf Course

Great short course in the middle of the city! Can't be beat. Got an online deal to play on a weekday that I had off to play with my son and we thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful day with such great weather and course conditions. Will be back again soon.

This course was highly recommended and was given 4.5 out of 5 stars. I was a nice fun course that lived up to the hype

I play this course 3 or 4 times a month. I absolutely love the layout and how this course keeps calling you back out to try to beat it. Today was a most unfortunate day and I had the most unsatisfying round here. I always play as a single and have no problems joining another group. Today I started out by myself and caught up to the twosome ahead of me. They nicely waived me through so that I could keep my own pace and rhythm. The front nine was nice and easy at a staggering fast pace. Upon getting to the 10th tee I encountered a foursome that were just getting to the green. As my play caught up to them I discovered that over the next 7 holes I had to wait nearly 10-12 minutes for every shot. These guys were lining up each other's putts and rather than putting out and one guy in particular stood over each putt for 2-3 minutes before he hit and missed badly. They knew I was behind them and never once waived me through. It was even so bad that on 18 they were lining up each other's 7 and 8 shots. Again the guy stayed over his ball for 2-3 minutes before he made his 9th or 10th shot into the hole. My game was done after 10 with having to wait so long for every shot. They even had other 4somes catch up to me who were not even in the parking lot when I teed off at 1. I want a refund or a comp round. This was more than pathetic. They need a Marshall to run the course and speed up slow players with no etiquette. I love this course and it's staff but today was a day to forget. Very very dissatisfied. Do play here. You won't be disappointed. Par 62 executive course with plenty of par 3 length from the tips and great conditions. Beautiful scenery and top notch staff.

One of best executive course if not the around the gulf coast.Alwas in great shape and very well manicured.They could use a marshall to speed up play and prevent on course teaching.

This course is perfect during a stay in New Orleans. Short course with good pace of play provide plenty of time do other things. Golf shouldn't take five hours and it doesn't here. Staff and other golfers are friendly and courteous.

Always well maintained, beautiful greens, only negative is par 62 due to space constraints for layout

In my twenty years of playing golf. This is the most fun I've had on a golf course!! And that's what its all about. If you are in the New Orleans area. Do yourself a favor put it on the list and take time to play this course. It has a little something for everybody. It will certainly test your iron game. Great shape and just a beautiful course. Amazing clubhouse. Great service. Just a great overall experience.

This course is always a great choice for an evening round

Nice layout. This is an executive course with mostly par 3's but basically set up like a long 2nd shot. Mixture of walkers and rider, so pace of play will vary. Some holes are challenging and water comes into play on several holes. Perfect course for a beginner or someone who struggles on long courses. Greens were a bit sandy and the ball struggled to hold. Overall good experience but rate should be around $20-25, not over $30. Will play here again

So if you can get past the fact that this is an executive course (only a couple of par 4s and par 5s with remaining holes being par 3s), this is a wonderfully unique opportunity to recreate in historic Audubon Park. The setting is beautiful, with Loyola Church's steeple visible from all vantage points about the course. Some holes are lined with the backs of turn-of-the-century (or older even) Victorian, Colonial, Arts-and-Crafts, etc mansions which make this area of New Orleans a world-renowned destination. The course itself is very well kept. The greens do consistently run perfectly smoothly. There are centuries-old Southern Live Oak Trees on nearly all holes as well as a fair amount of water and elaborate bunkering. And the recently-renovated club house is a beautiful, and tasty, venue to enjoy a cocktail and lunch (or brunch) following a round. I certainly recommend this course to all who have never experienced it before. It will no doubt be a different experience than that of any other round of golf you have ever played.
