Nice
Nice layout. This is an executive course with mostly par 3's but basically set up like a long 2nd shot. Mixture of walkers and rider, so pace of play will vary. Some holes are challenging and water comes into play on several holes. Perfect course for a beginner or someone who struggles on long courses. Greens were a bit sandy and the ball struggled to hold. Overall good experience but rate should be around $20-25, not over $30. Will play here again

Golf, set in the heart of Old World New Orleans
So if you can get past the fact that this is an executive course (only a couple of par 4s and par 5s with remaining holes being par 3s), this is a wonderfully unique opportunity to recreate in historic Audubon Park. The setting is beautiful, with Loyola Church's steeple visible from all vantage points about the course. Some holes are lined with the backs of turn-of-the-century (or older even) Victorian, Colonial, Arts-and-Crafts, etc mansions which make this area of New Orleans a world-renowned destination. The course itself is very well kept. The greens do consistently run perfectly smoothly. There are centuries-old Southern Live Oak Trees on nearly all holes as well as a fair amount of water and elaborate bunkering. And the recently-renovated club house is a beautiful, and tasty, venue to enjoy a cocktail and lunch (or brunch) following a round. I certainly recommend this course to all who have never experienced it before. It will no doubt be a different experience than that of any other round of golf you have ever played.

Great time.
I had a great day playing at this course. Greens were perfect. Don't let the Par 62 fool you, this is a very tough course and extremely challenging. Great course to work on your ball striking.
The par 62 definitely fools a lot of people. Glad you had a great time! Come see us again at The Golf Club at Audubon Park!
Deceptively Tough
At first glance, this course looks like a pushover: short with very few trees. But the course has so many long par-3s (not to mention small greens) that the big numbers can pile up quickly. It's not for everybody, but that's not the course's fault.
Glad you had a good time! This course definitely test your game. Thanks for your review and Come see us again at The Golf Club at Audubon Park!
66% Par threes
Twelve Par 3s, Four Par 4s and Two Par 5s. Par 62. Great course to improve your iron play. Not so much if you want to work on your drives. Close to New Orleans Central. Great scenery and course and greens were in great shape. Good warm up course before playing a longer course
Hi Mcguirk61. Glad you had a great time! Thanks for your review and Come see us again at The Golf Club at Audubon Park!

Tuesday Edition of the Valiant Gentlemen's Club
We play this course every week. It's a short course with a par 62 and it's just so much fun having an abundance of par 3's to make par and birdies on. The course itself has some rolling mounds, tree lines and nice bunkers to make the course challenging but enjoyably playable for even beginners. I've only been playing for 2 years! They have a decent snack bar, friendly staff, a full service club house, and affable snack cart professionals. Sometimes they want to stack up certain tee times, so if you're looking to play alone, or unencumbered by awkward small talk, you may ask to start on 10, or skip a hole or two only to return afterwards. We'll keep playing every week!
Appreciate the feedback and thanks joining us for here at The Golf Club at Audubon Park! Look forward to seeing you next time!
Practice your short game

Best Kept secret in N.O.
I Loved the hospitality given to me and my wife playing this course. The layout was great and the course played great considering all the rain that just had passed. Loved it

great course for iron play, moderately challenging, well maintained with friendly staff' Beverage cart always around and handy. The" cart path only" was inconvenient as I am some what challenged but in all a good experience.
Thank you for your very kind comments! . We are so glad you enjoyed your round and hope to see you soon.
Jim from Chicago

Fun round
I enjoy playing the course good for accurate play
Glad you had a great time! See you next time at the Golf Club at Audubon Park.
Short and challenging
I was disappointed at the length of the course. However the course design made it much more challenging than its par 62.
Overall nice course 3 hour pace of play is also a bonus.
Glad you had a great experience and got the round in a reasonable time! Come see us next time your in town. Thanks for playing The Golf Club at Audubon Park!
Golfing in Uptown
My first time playing Audubon and I really enjoyed it. This is a short course and I was able to finish it playing alone in about 2:45. My tee time was for 9am and I got going just before the crowds started coming in. The course was in great condition and it was just as great taking in the scenery. Just once, I had 2 lost people walking down a cart part, but other than that everyone was busy walking, jogging and biking and minding their business. Great course - can't wait to go back.
