Father and Son memory challenge
My son an I had an enjoyable time golfing. I have been playing here for over 50 years and it was his first time. I talked about other family members who played here and we both laughed our way through the beautiful canyon setting. I love this 9 hole golf course and love the changes to the pro shop, restaurant, and the rest of the amenities. If possible, I’ll be playing here at least another 20 years! The course was in great shape for winter golf and the pace was right on every hole. When my son visits again he dyed he wants to play here again!
Nice course
This course is well worth it. The entertainment not of his name was really great.
They have really upgraded the course
The ownership of Ben Brown Golf Course has really improved the golf course. The greens are great and the fairways are in perfect condition
Nice course!
Tucked away in a canyon. Not too difficult. Easy to walk. We’ll definitely play there again!
Pricing
Great nine hole course. Love to play the course more often but a little expensive for nine holes.
Lots of workers in course
There appears to be major infrastructure work going on, it’s loud and distracting
Lot of workers on course
Great course and conditions. Greens were outstanding. Only drawback was number of construction workers on holes 1,8 & 9. Major distraction, although work seemed important and it was a Monday
Best value in OC
BB is my favorite all around course in OC. views and course layout are best value around. Try to play much as possible. Staff are great. Course is challenging enough but great for beginners.
One of the most beautiful 9 hole courses in Orange County
So this course is absolutely stunning! It’s nestled in between mountains and located at The Ranch Hotel.
Course: Very well maintained! The greens, bunkers, and fairways are perfect. The grounds crew here is incredible! Plus they are very friendly and encouraging to you as you pass them on the course.
Price: Come before 7am and it’s only $25. After that the price can be a little steep for a 9 hole.
I think my favorite part of this course are some of the tee boxes. Hole one you are up on a hill and you will feel great when you launch the ball from up there.
The biggest thing I can recommend is bring a lot of extra balls. Holes 1, 6, 7, 8, and 9 you will need to jump a creek in order to make it on the green. Hole 6 you will need to land it on the green for the first hit otherwise you will land it in the creek.
I highly recommend this course because of how beautiful it is!
Unique executive nine
Course is tucked around a creek in a scenic valley. Very good condition and fun to play at any level.
Beautiful and laid back
A very aesthetically beautiful course with plenty of space. The course itself isn’t very long and the cost is a bit steep, but a great place to go with someone for their first time or someone that doesn’t have the stamina to golf all day
Great round in a great setting
Very much enjoyed our Sunday AM round at Ben Brown -- the length was perfect for our fun family round and the foggy conditions just added to the great ambiance. The greens were in great condition - tho the tee boxes seemed a bit worn. the staff was terrific - very friendly and helpful. Will return.
Quick Value
Played 1st tee and done in an hour on a Monday and Tuesday. Course is a good golf escape if you are in Laguna on vacation and don’t have 5 hours to play a full round. The driving cage is complimentary and the staff is nice. Course is in good shape.
