Cowdenbeath Golf Club

I was stunned how good this course was. The fairways are wide and the length of the holes are mostly plus 300 yards. The course is surrounded by wind turbines that adds to the ambience of nature in harmony with it surroundings.

The course has no shared fairways or Greens, unlike some other courses that cut corners and price themselves by snobbery not quality. The only down side was my ⛳, if your ball goes in the rough or trees it's a goner.

I definitely would play here again.

Course in great condition as are greens good weather staff friendly overall a good course gives you a chance and tests you as well

This is the 3rd time I've played here but this time the greens were in poor condition which was a little surprising as it was their Open Competition the day before.lots of patches with very little grass on them and v bumpy.the course in general is pretty good and it's definitely good value for money when you are only paying £20

Played at Cowdenbeath GC today and had a good round.

Staff really friendly.

Course was in good condition and a very good layout.

Relatively flat course and an easy walk.

Didn’t try the food in the clubhouse as we were in a hurry as had a Birthday party to get to.

Would recommend this course to anyone.

The 4 ball in front would not let us play through ,which normally happens if they are playing

slow .no reflection on club (not clubs fault.)great course first time.,will play again.

Played today for the first time today and would play again. Course in very good condition and greens very firm and true. Mix of short and long par 3’s which was good, only slight negative is that the course layout is quite ‘samey’ in terms of the par 4’s. For a golf day for a lot of people this course would be perfect, as would cater for all types of players. Very good value for money, and a thoroughly enjoyable afternoons golf.

The course would be great in summer winter poor for money

I have played Dora now the last 3 weekends now and I can certainly say it’s up there .

The course is well maintained fairways greens rough . Some very nice and difficult holes .

We travel up to 10 miles to get to this course to play it . If this course was further east in fife or over in Edinburgh and West Lothian the price would rocket up . Dora is a lot better than some of these courses in Edinburgh and West Lothian at a fraction of how much they charge .

We will be back again but will be trying another course next week on the fife golf trust .
