Elmwood Golf Club sprawls across some of the most beautiful countryside in Fife, offering scenic views of Tarvit Hill and the Lomond Hills. Visitors are always welcome at this pay-and-play facility, which is owned and managed by Elmwood College. The golf course put into effect a successful environmental strategy that has resulted in a sizeable increase in wildlife and wildflowers. More than 9,000 trees were planted prior to construction of the course and there is minimal, if any, use of pesticides. The sound environmental and maintenance systems in combination with the dry, free-draining site ensure that the golf course is playable year-round. The layout has a nice variety of holes including lengthy par 5s, tricky par 3s, and par 4s that offer birdie opportunities. Elmwood Golf Club also offers an expansive driving range with both indoor and outdoor bays.

Generous fairways great greens

The course is well maintained. Generous fairways and great greens. Good value for money through Golfnow. We did enjoy the round however would not play again as felt a bit up and down a couple of fields.

Excellent course

After returning to golf after a long lay off, I have tried quite a few local courses, this has been my favourite so far, very enjoyable afternoons golf.

Excellent layout, fair challenge, beautiful greens, challenging bunkers. Great value for money, honestly give this course a try you will not disappointed.

Lovely interesting course

Really enjoyable round. Course was in superb condition and greens were excellent. Not an easy course, but a fair test for golfers of any ability. Nice driving range and practice area, and the clubhouse was excellent. All in all a really enjoyable day, and amazing value for money, and will definitely be back to play again.

Elmwood Golf Course

The course is difficult to find but once we arrived the staff could not be friendlier. Once on the course I was disappointed with the condition of the course. Tee boxes were bare, fairways were covered in weeds, greens were extremely slow and paths between holes were in a state of disrepair. All this did not help with the pace of play and we ended up standing around at tee boxes for around an hour combined. All this considered I think it did not represent good value for money and therefore would not recommend to friends.

Nice open course.. beautiful greens.

Enjoyed a nice round... can see why it's a green keeper training centre.. course was immaculate.. greens were fast and true... not the most difficult of courses.. pretty straight forward... if you keep the ball straight you will score well once you get to grips with the greens.. no real hazards other than some well placed bunkers.. Nice relaxing game of golf was had.

A fair course

Despite using the range before, this was the first time we had played the course. Not the hardest layout, but in good condition. With the exception of a couple of holes (where prior knowledge is very helpful), the course pretty much plays as you’d expect it to. Overall great value for money though and in very good condition.

Good Value

Played this course as three ball on Sunday 3rd July.

Course was in good condition although the tees could have done with a good watering as brown and bare. Pace of golf was good and the course has a good layout. Clubhouse staff friendly and welcoming.

Really good value and would definitely recommend a visit.

A good challenge for all levels of player.

Played on a lovely summer day. So no excuse for my poor score!! Good mixture of challenges at holes. Greens are improving each time we play. A regular on our family's circuit when on holiday in Fife

Elmwood, Cupar

Average Parkland golf course which due to prior rain was somewhat wet. Unfortunately bunkers were somewhat compacted and in need of turn over not just surface raked..

Bearing in mind the time of year, weather conditions etc, in general not too bad a course to play.
