Peter and Margaret
Lovely course in great condition. Very quiet, no one in front or behind which let us play at a good leisurely pace. Nice breakfast before the round. Would definitely recommend to anyone
Nice morning.
Don't get many chances to play golf these days. Played here a few times and always enjoy it.
Had an opportunity to play one Monday morning.
There's a group of auld boys that play.
I was just happy enough to wait behind as was just playing a bounce.
They offered me to join them and was a good laugh.
Nice walk unspoiled
Just nice... hadn't played it in 20 years, but the adjusted layout is good. Was with a beginner and it's not penal for them. If you want a windy / links / east lothian challenge to boast about... probably doesn't do it. But as an average golfer doing average golfer things the holes are varied and fun to play... would recommend.
Simply beautiful
The course is really nice, and a perfect alternate to the Links courses. If you love big trees, this is your place. Restaurant was just OK. Don't ask for a shower: ladies don't have one, men's requires urgent renovation. Staff is simply wonderful.
Well worth a visit.
Although a resident of East Lothian, I'd never played Haddington before. Golf Now offered a chance to remedy this at a very reasonable price.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed playing this lovely parkland course, with a good variation of holes and challenges.
Will definitely be back, and might even consider possibly taking out a membership in the future is subsequent visits are as good as this first visit.
Certainly worth a visit.
Reasonable price
Just played Haddington golf club today
Windy day so quite challenging played around my handicap of 12 so not too bad for a first visit
The guy in the pro shop very helpful
Quite a well layed out course well signposted so as not to get lost
Unfortunately though I was a little disappointed with the condition of the fairways and greens
Won’t be returning when I’m back in Scotland
Good condition
Course was in very good condition considering the dry weather we’ve had lately, with the greens running true. It was a very windy day (it’s been a windy summer) making it an additional challenge, and would like to return on a calmer day.
Very friendly staff in the club house.
Worth a visit
Good course in great condition. Professional wad very freindly but the clubhouse amenities are very dated.
A great value parkland gem
A great value parkland gem just of the A1 near Edinburgh.
Excellent layout and variety of holes. Fairways and greens were good.
Friendly staff all made a nice break on our journey home from Northumberland.
We will do it again.
Good times
Good weather, course in good nick and greens true, had a smashing round. Thanks HGC
Very friendly,nice layout
Pleasant parkland course with mature trees & some interesting holes. Good value.
Well kept course at an excellent price
Really enjoyed our wet walk around Haddington. The course is for the most part long, open and straight with bunkers forming the bulk of the hazards you might encounter (with a water-protected green on the 18th being a nasty surprise for those who favour the left). A few memorable holes peppered through what is still a very pleasant environment, particularly by the river.
Greens ran much faster than you might expect from their mossy, parkland appearance and were in good condition.
