About
Marshall Canyon Golf Course is nestled within the scenic foothills that overlook La Verne. The course is seemingly short at 6,110 yards from the back tees but it's not to be underestimated. The hilly terrain provides more than enough uneven lies and blind shots. The fast greens are also some of the toughest in the area but they are nicely balanced by wide, player-friendly fairways. The hard-to-read greens have subtle but tricky breaks that get easier once you've played the golf course before but even then, they still present some challenges. Marshall Canyon is a local favorite not only for the challenging round but also because it's a good value with great scenery. Golfers can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and will often catch a glimpse of the many deer that roam the course.

4th of july
Marshall canyon is one of the better la county corses. Tucked away up in canyon, so u play early there’s deer and a lot of wild life, seen a baby bob cat before. As for the course has a few carries and tough placement shots to score. U can play perfect golf driver irons wedges all that, but if u don’t bring your putting game here, your gonna have a bad day. Absolutely greats greens, one of top 5 courses green wise I ever played. Truly test u every green. Nothing straight at all , bend breaks , ups downs . Brutal but fun as can be if u love golf like I do. Really a course u gotta give at least a chance . Value wise can’t beat it.

Great Course at a good value
Fairways and Greens are in great condition. Deer on the course were amazing and friendly. I would definitely recommend this course to others

Nice course
This course is a good value for the price. Conditions could be better but it’s still a good value. Definitely not the worst probably a solid 3 star public course.

Fun course
Always fun to try to read the greens. Course needs to be mowed. Greens need to be de-thatched. Good snack bar. Good on course offerings from snack cart.
Pace of play was very slow for a 6000 yard course.

This coarse is a hidden secret
Absolutely the best coarse in the Inland Empire, it was my first course to play as a freshman in high-school and I am 57 years old and it is still my favorite coarse, PLAY IT and you'll feel the same way I do, have fun!!
Tree Branch Fell on Car at Course
I was about to tee off and a tree branch fell on my car. There were some deep scratches and dents on my car hood. I've been told that the course would reimburse me for the damages. I've called weekly since, but I think they keep delaying hoping that I'll forget about it.
