About
Marshall Canyon Golf Course is nestled within the scenic foothills that overlook La Verne. The course is seemingly short at 6,110 yards from the back tees but it's not to be underestimated. The hilly terrain provides more than enough uneven lies and blind shots. The fast greens are also some of the toughest in the area but they are nicely balanced by wide, player-friendly fairways. The hard-to-read greens have subtle but tricky breaks that get easier once you've played the golf course before but even then, they still present some challenges. Marshall Canyon is a local favorite not only for the challenging round but also because it's a good value with great scenery. Golfers can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and will often catch a glimpse of the many deer that roam the course.

Great place to golf
Well maintenance, putting greens are fast so beware..lol. Bought beers there and they gave us a cooler to use . Will returns best golf course I’ve played at so far . Cant wait to go again!

on a sunday afternoon
course is and really always has been in good condition ,other than bunch of fallen tress because of wind and to bad on damage on cart building, but i like that there cleaning it up promply,always gret view of mountainsand wild life ,i would rate one of favorite in the san gabriel valley area,thanks

I was suppose to play the course but due to high winds course was closed but there was no info so when i got there doors were closed . An simple email to notify the players would have been nice .

One of my favorites
Shot 80 and had a good time. Fairways and greens were very good. Tee boxes good. Finished in 4 hours. Excellent value. Played Industry Hills Babe course last week and Marshall is much better maintained more fun and less expensive.

Always amazed!
Fun course to play and work on your game. A great balance of challenging and recovery holes. But the best part of Marshall Canyon is the connection to nature. We saw a bobcat and tons of deer. Who would of known that we were five minutes from a major freeway. We tend to play this course when we want to just get away from the chaos of the world and have a great game of golf.

Fairways & greens were in bad condition.
Fairways and greens were in bad shape. I expected more for the 50 dollar tee time price.

Fairways sucked / Pace of play sucked
The course conditions were pretty bad the fairways and greens. I expected a little more for the 50 dollar tee time price.
