About
Marshall Canyon Golf Course is nestled within the scenic foothills that overlook La Verne. The course is seemingly short at 6,110 yards from the back tees but it's not to be underestimated. The hilly terrain provides more than enough uneven lies and blind shots. The fast greens are also some of the toughest in the area but they are nicely balanced by wide, player-friendly fairways. The hard-to-read greens have subtle but tricky breaks that get easier once you've played the golf course before but even then, they still present some challenges. Marshall Canyon is a local favorite not only for the challenging round but also because it's a good value with great scenery. Golfers can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and will often catch a glimpse of the many deer that roam the course.

Always amazed!
Fun course to play and work on your game. A great balance of challenging and recovery holes. But the best part of Marshall Canyon is the connection to nature. We saw a bobcat and tons of deer. Who would of known that we were five minutes from a major freeway. We tend to play this course when we want to just get away from the chaos of the world and have a great game of golf.

Fairways & greens were in bad condition.
Fairways and greens were in bad shape. I expected more for the 50 dollar tee time price.

Fairways sucked / Pace of play sucked
The course conditions were pretty bad the fairways and greens. I expected a little more for the 50 dollar tee time price.

Love the course. Beautiful scenery and the wildlife is just fantastic.
Absolutely love the course, and the wildlife is everywhere. Only problem I'm having now is getting a early tee time. It seems that when I go on golf now to book a time, everything is booked until at least 1:00. I start looking as soon as you can, but everything is gone for an early tee time. Don't know what else to do now. Still love the course, just can't start that late.

One of the better courses in the area. As of lately, the prices have began to go up and they no longer honor the free bucket of balls with purchase through golfnow. This is my local course and i have seen the popularity grow over the years making it harder to get tee times like i used to. I wish i could be grandfathered in LOL.

Pre Christmas play
Course in good shape. Good pace till hole 13 then things backed up. Players taking multiple shots on holes..but hey stuff happens.

The course was great. The greens were challenging, the fairways were well maintained and the pace was carefully monitored which was great for not waiting to hit. I enjoyed playing marshal canyon and will do so again.

the golf course was closed
the tee time was canceled due to the Marshall canyon golf course was closed on 12/14/2021 because of the raining weather . Please refund my payment of $65 back to my credit card . Thank you !
Hi Melody. As far as the raincheck goes, sounds like you may have prepaid for a Hot Deal on GolfNow. When this is the case, no money is paid to the pro-shop so there is no money that is owed back from the course. You may have booked other course times through GolfNow and that is why you were able to obtain a raincheck. If you call GolfNow, they would be happy to rectify the situation. We hope this clears any confusion up and we hope you give us another try in the future.
