Marshall Canyon Golf Club

It took aver 6 hours to play a round of golf. Ridiculous.

Do not play here on the weekend unless you have your entire day free. Absolutely brutal pace, there were 4 groups back up on the 2nd tee! Marshalls helped a little bit but still we were late to start our round and were only 2 holes in after an hour. Worst pace I’ve ever seen.

That aside it’s a nice course with incredibly tough greens, sometimes it’s a little gimmicky how aggressive the slopes are. Good luck if you’re putting downhill

Check-in starter person was quite frustrated as he was explaining all tee times were delayed for 30 mins for everyone. He even yelled at a person because he got mixed up with his tee time. He literally yelled at people at 1st hole tee box. What a great way to start a round when you see that. And our cart battery died at 15th hole.

An employee got assaulted and the let the group who did it play. I canceled my tee time because they’d disgraceful

Somehow the course looks greener

Pace of play is still an issue here Even in the late afternoon

But the check in staff somehow can’t seem to remember that it’s a customer oriented business

I love this course and everything about it: easy to park, easy to access, check in is smooth, if you are using a cart, the process is simple, your fellow players you are paired with are typically friendly, and fun to play with, the food is delicious, and the price is competitive. The greens are in great shape, although the cups could use some trimming, and the course generally gives you enough turf to hit the ball off of.

Our pace yesterday was slow, as they have eight minute teetime starts which tends to crowd the field. We started at 12:55 PM and ended at 6:24 PM, so over five hours. So you can enjoy this course, but plan on it being a longer round.
