The Amelia River Club

The staff were friendly. The carts were in good shape. The course was in need of some drying out time and TLC. Not really the staffs fault. They are playing the hand that the rain has dealt them. At least they were open. I got the tee time on golf now for half price. It was worth what I paid for it but no way would I play it for the advertised rate. 50 to 60 bucks should be a fair price for an average course. It is pretty cool watching the small planes take off and land at the airport that borders several of the holes. Overall an OK course to get out and enjoy a morning or afternoon round.

Course had lots of water in places, driving range was closed due to flooding, but other than being cart path only was very worth the trip to Amelia Island. Will definitely return soon to play under better weather conditions. Zero complaints

The fairways and greens are the best features. 18th fairway was spotty. Four sets of tees well spaced. Green speed was reflective of hot season, heavy play, and recent wet weather, but greens were consistent. Tee boxes and rough around greens were a mixed bag, again probably reflective of late summer conditions. Despite a full tee sheet, play moved very reasonably. I wouldn’t call this course a bargain, but I would definitely play it again.

Amelia River is the best course for the money on Amelia Island. Greens in great shape and the course is fun, fair, but gettable if you keep it in the short grass.

I so enjoyed this course! The greens and fairways were in excellent condition! A true roll on the greens! Not too intimidating for the recreational golfer. Perfect!

Course in great condition. I’m a member of a private club and the course was in as good a condition as my club. Pro shop well maintained

The course is in great condition. The staff is very professional and polite. The greens are fast and challenging. Definitely recommend to play.

Last year when we visited Amelia Island, almost everyone we spoke to about golf recommended this course. We're glad we got the chance to play it! We were paired with a member, Don, and he was very helpful in guiding us around the course. It was raining when we first arrived, so maybe that scared some regulars off, and that made the pace of play great. I know they've had a lot of rain in the past few weeks, so the bunkers weren't great, but understandable. Would definitely play here again.

Love that they give Fl/Ga rate. Paired up w/a twosome and got around in about 3:30 on a busy Friday morning. Staff was helpful and nice. Tom the starter told me stories of the good ole days while we waited to tee off. Course was in great shape. Great time out there.

As always, had an enjoyable round and course is in good shape. Know on Mondays there is no on course cart service...told due to not enough cost benefit. However, in this Fl heat and humidity it would be nice to see a beverage cart with ice and water/gatorade to replace whats been consumed., if you haven't tried the slaw dog, it's amazing...as are the cookies.
