Sun Village Golf Course, although located within a retirement community, offers a challenging game. This par-3 course has three sets of tee boxes to accommodate most skill levels and abilities. It has plenty of water on the back nine, adding to its difficulty. Although the course has homes surrounding it, there is still a laid back and quiet atmosphere. Since the golf course is aimed towards seniors, it is easy to walk although it does have a winding layout that some golfers get lost on. The Sun Village Golf Course being only for seniors is a misconception though, since the course offers a good game.

Nice weekend golf outing
Love this course. It’s a great test to ones short game. Anyone can drive a golf ball, but can you chip or hit 60-80 yards into a green? Play this course and you can!
Sun Valley GC
Love playing this short course. You won’t need a driver or any club over a 6 iron to play. Great course to work on your short game. Shot a 62 this morning. My best round here.

Play this course before 7am and you will be pleased.

Great Course nice people
Our second time playing Sun Village and had a blast. I’m a beginner and got my first birdie on 18 from the blue and my daughter parred it. Always clean and quiet. We will be back :).
Tons of leaves and seed pods all over the course and greens. Affected putting. Too much mess.
Challenging 3par course
Course is set in a quiet gated community. Course is in great condition. Make sure you follow course map or you may miss a hole or two. Great practice course for short game. Will come back for sure.
Challenging Par 3
The course is all par 3s and the greens are very well taken care of. Pin placements can be quite difficult. The community is quiet and pleasant. Most everyone you encounter is polite and friendly.
Golf Marshal
The golf Marshal's are absolutely inappropriate and rude. I played 04/10/2021 and there were two Marshal's who were both playing while my group was playing. While they appeared to be a inebriated, Marshal's identified themselves with their badge and requested we "play better" if we want to play on their "elite coarse". They stated they will not allow the public to "stink up" their course. Our group felt very judged and it was overall a horrible experience. I will say that Dave that initially took our tee time was very professional and polite. I will not be retuning due to the marshal etiquette.

I can’t wait to play this course again. Rolling hills and very challenging.
Marshall Jack McAss
Trying to have a fun round is hard when the marshall is hassling you every other hole. Where is your receipt? Why do you have a ball retriever in your bag? Let us play! In all the years of playing I have never seen a marshall take something out of a players bag. Unfortunately I was warned about this Marshall previously by another player ...should've heeded his warning & read earlier reviews. Avoid the 4th & 5th holes... sometimes he likes to Marshall from his back yard.
I had fun
We had a great time here; friendly staff and players. The neighborhood was great and houses had great character. You can smell flowers on every hole. The greens were slower than expected and the water hazards got me. I’ll be back lol.

Another Enjoyable Round
Third time we have played this course. The course and the weather were perfect. We didn't have to wait on any hole and we didn't have anyone pushing us. Great round and great exercise!
