Sun Village Golf Course, although located within a retirement community, offers a challenging game. This par-3 course has three sets of tee boxes to accommodate most skill levels and abilities. It has plenty of water on the back nine, adding to its difficulty. Although the course has homes surrounding it, there is still a laid back and quiet atmosphere. Since the golf course is aimed towards seniors, it is easy to walk although it does have a winding layout that some golfers get lost on. The Sun Village Golf Course being only for seniors is a misconception though, since the course offers a good game.

Disappointed
It was a pretty day for golf and the four of us anticipated a nice time. However, the Marshall sadly was very confrontational and critical. He was unnecessarily verbally abusive.. The couple we were with left early and said they would not be back as a result of the Marshall. We probably won’t be back either which is unfortunate since we live nearby and have friends that live there
practice
I chose the course to practice my short irons and chipping. It is very good for that purpose. Greens are a little slow, but over all playing was a good experience.
Great Course
My wife and I enjoyed the chance to work on our short games as the holes range from about 80 yards to 140 yards. The pace moved well, the weather was perfect, and it was a fun course that took us only 2.5 hours to complete.
Golf with Earne
Walking 18 holes, all par 3s made four pars. Record for me. My partner from Riverside CA sort of struggled. But all in all lots of fun. I will be back soon. Thanks.
A good experience
Course was in nice shape and paste of play was perfect. Enjoyed the walking while playing. Nice change of pace. This was a perfect course for my wife as she is just coming back from shoulder surgery.
Bring your old balls
The front 9 was fun but I wish there were more par 4's. All par 3s. Too much water on the back 9. Every hole had a water hazard! After the 12th I was ready to quit. The course was in excellent shape and better than most I've played this year. I live 20 miles away and frankly it wasn't worth the drive. OK if I lived closer but there are so many others that are more fun to play.
Hands down best course in PHX!
This course is amazing!!! Greens where perfect. tee Boxes 100% on point. The goose poop is a draw back but with and amazing as this course was and as cheap as it was I can look past it. Staff knew who I was when I pulled up and said Mr.<me> your checked in. This was before I even got to the door. This course will be a place I take friends from out of state to for sure. Amazing amazing amazing.
Great course to tune up your short game
Course is in very good shape. Greens are slow but true. Lots of water on the back nine. Good course to get your iron practice in. People are friendly in the clubhouse and on the course. Will definitely return.
Nice Place-
I enjoyed this course- it’s simple course. Holes range from 85 yards - 160 yards (back tees) Walking only- super easy to walk. A touch confusing to find the next hole.... The patrons were super helpful. Check it out to work on your short game.
Fun front 9 par 3 course
The front nine was really fun but the back nine has a lot of goose/duck poop. I had to hose off my push cart.
Cheap and wonderful course
I have probably played 10 rounds here and love it every time. Par 3 course where everyone walks. Never feel pressured for time, staff is friendly, on course restrooms are well maintained, and I have a lot of fun playing each time. Great value.
