Sun Village Golf Course
About
Sun Village Golf Course, although located within a retirement community, offers a challenging game. This par-3 course has three sets of tee boxes to accommodate most skill levels and abilities. It has plenty of water on the back nine, adding to its difficulty. Although the course has homes surrounding it, there is still a laid back and quiet atmosphere. Since the golf course is aimed towards seniors, it is easy to walk although it does have a winding layout that some golfers get lost on. The Sun Village Golf Course being only for seniors is a misconception though, since the course offers a good game.

Geese Explosion
This is a fun 3 par walking course I have played in the past. The workers were mowing and pulling maintenance, but were very respectful while players were coming through. It did get a little backed up; which I was pre-warned at checkin due to frost delays earlier in the day. The water attracts multiple birds and when I left I witnessed a multitude of geese and they had a huge pack of goslings with them. This would explain why golfers get their shoes and cart wheels packed and the bridges were extrmely dirty with bird excrement. The complimentary shoe cleaning brushes at each tee box and the office were overwhelmed with the mess.
On another note; the proshop is a favorite of mine. They have very pretty prints for women's visors, a great selection of gloves including half finger, and a nice selection of golf shoes that are on sale. Needless to say, but I had to go home and power wash my new cleats after walking through the unavoidable goose droppings.
Great fun!
Love to play this course and be able to walk it. It’s short but still a challenge. Great shape. Staff are super friendly.
Friendly course.
Great par 3 course for those who would rather walk during golf. Everyone is very friendly and helpful.
Sun Village
This is a very nice par three golf course. It’s nice to play 18 holes. It’s easy to walk and they pull carts if needed. The one down side is goose poop everywhere on the course especially on the back nine where there’s lot of water. I would still play it again.
Sweet little par-3 course
We had fun on our first round here. Pleasant staff. Clean restroom. Nice, simple course. The only negative was all of the geese/ducks and their deposits.
The course is in wonderful condition.
I went there with a friend for the 1st time. The course was in wonderful condition. It was all par 3's, but a few of them were medium long. The back 9 had lakes that affected 7 - 8 holes. The round was plaid in approximately 2½ hours (walking).
Well cared for and pretty good greens
I liked the course but found it a bit boring. It may have been because I was paired up with some guys who could not stop chatting. During drives and putts, non stop talk, in my mind I was shouting "shut up". Anyway, not the fault of the course.
Nice and peaceful and easy course to walk
Staff has always been more than courteous and great food at Peter’s restaurant there
Very disappointing!!! Course was not in good shape. Tee boxes & fairways were shaggy. Green's were decent but very slow. Staff (especially the MARSHALL) were very condescending to people that I saw him interact with. I think that title has gone to his head!! Just remember without these patron's paying to play your course you wouldn't have a job. To many other good option's available in the valley. Will not play here again
