Grand Geneva Resort & Spa was ranked in the top 10 northern U.S. golf resorts by Conde Nast Traveler. The resort boasts two championship courses, the Brute and the Highlands. The formidable Brute Course stretches to over 7,000 yards. It is considered one of the toughest golf courses in the Midwest. The layout wanders across rolling terrain, incorporating a variety of elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. There are 68 bunkers strategically placed along the massive, undulating greens. The course is aptly named since it will relentlessly test your skills. It is more challenging than the Highlands, which is a links course designed by Jack Nicklaus and Pete Dye. In addition to the two courses, Grand Geneva Resort & Spa also has a practice facility complete with a driving range and putting and chipping greens.

The Brute
Great course, challenging but not impossible.
No houses, beautiful scenery, lots of wild turkeys, including the ones I played with, LOL. Great fun!
One of the best golf courses in Wisconsin. Must play in Lake Geneva. Excellent conditions very friendly, helpful staff
Beautiful Layout
Enjoyed playing The Brute. Elevated tee boxes and greens made for interesting shots. I would play this track again.

This course had a beautiful layout and was kept in wonderful condition. The facilities were very nice as were the carts and GPS options.

It's a Brute
Beautiful course, nice layout. Played early before the rates get out of hand. Greens are pretty difficult, watch out for the down hill putts ans chips.
Day on the course
Pace of play was very slow. Were told there had been an outing but it was over and pace should pick up. It did not, and with open holes ahead the group in front of us continued to not pick up the pace and there were no marshals monitoring the play. For the amount of money being spent there should have been monitors.
Very EXPENSIVE
way TOO MUCH MONEY!! cOURSE IS BEAUTIFUL. Very Bad Pace ! 5 hours on a wed> Not enough carts. They came to 1st hole and took 1. made a pair aftertee shot. I hac to pay $32 extra for my own cart. I'm disabled! I stopped playing after 12 holes, What if I had a pairing!! TERRIBLE
Great value
The price I paid @ Golfnow.com was a bargain at any course, but @ "The Brute" it was like Christmas in summer. It's a very classy place with two great courses. Can't wait to return.

Course is in excellent shape ! Greens are some of the best in the Midwest. Will forward to our next visit !
