Milnathort Golf Club is a traditional village golf course in scenic Perthshire, Scotland. The club formed in 1910 on grounds donated to the golf club to encourage sport.

Its an undulating inland, nine-hole parkland golf course with lush fairways and superb greens. Additional tees have been added at three of the holes to give the nine-hole course more variety. Because of these strategically placed trees, accurate tee shots are necessary. There are different trees and greens for each hole.

Though you need to be accurate off the tee at Milnathort Golf Club, the course is forgiving, and there's room for a wayward shot. There are no par 5s and no hole over 467 yards. The shortest hole is the 146-yard par 3 fourth, while the longest is the 440-yard par 4 seventh.

Junior golf is encouraged. The clubhouse features a dining area, bar and changing rooms and showers.

9 hole course

This is a good 9 hole course. Set in a very beautiful setting. There are some weird quirky vibes. This is a 9 hole course so you do have to go round twice and use different tee off locations and also some different greens. Most of the greens are doubled up which makes it quite odd. The course is also very compact and short. Easy enough to play at any level. Greg course seems well looked after and a lot of the member and staff really pleasant. Good day of golf.

Great course

Had a great experience fantastic course very well maintained and really friendly golfers, a little bit of a longer par 4 course for those still a little short on hitting distance but it didn’t put us out and we still reached most greens comfortably in the end, only small gripe I would have is when we arrived we went to check in and said we had a tee time booked as you do at most clubs the young person behind the bar looked a little confused and said if we have booked and paid to just tee off almost like we should have known this. No big problem really we just didn’t want to walk onto the course without checking in first. She did advise us where the score cards were which were most helpful all in all a fantastic morning/afternoon we didn’t use the clubhouse facilities but they looked very good and fresh baking on display and always seemed to have golfers within so always a good sign we Will definitely try the food next time we visit

Good value for money.

My partner & I have played this course a few times, when we've been in Scotland & always enjoyed it.

Not the most difficult course but interesting enough & not too taxing, if you've been playing a lot of golf.

Slightly hilly but nothing to struggle with.

Good for all handicaps

Having played today in melting heat we had a great day. Having varied handicaps from 10 to 54 in our 4 ball it was a good test for us all. The greens were in excellent condition and the course was superbly presented. The staff and members were friendly the food was great and the whole day was great. Although the map on the back of the card was clear we did have a couple of instances where we were unsure of where to go. There were signs but not big enough to see from where we were. This is not a criticism just an observation. We had a fantastic day!

Friendly atmosphere

Played this course with my son who is quite new to golf and really enjoyed the day, pace of play was very quick although it was busy and course in good condition, its a 9 hole course so you play twice but there are a couple of alernative tees and an alternative green at the 6th/15th. Overall good value for money and enjoyable round, rough wasn't too taxing either although a few out of bounds on right for slicers
