I Recommend This Course
Thornhill
After playing here I was quite pleased with it , a good wee course , many challenging holes , , only criticism I have is that the 15th & 16th were covered in loads and loads of sand , it was very hard to putt through and the only disappointing aspect of our day out ,
The food was really nice and reasonably priced
All in all good wee place

Thornhill golf course
Played thornhill course 4pm tee off, very few others on course so play great. Playing solo as on holiday in area this week. Had looked at fees at course and it was £32 mid week , however booked online via a website and paid £19:50 including fees so really good value, I double checked with the club that they accepted this offer and questioned whether they offered anything like that at the clubhouse but they did not, you had to pay online.
Course was excellent, I have played it several times in last few years and the greens just get better. My only criticism is the clubhouse was deserted no one behind bar or anything, it was open and toilet facilities available, would have been nice for drink or possibly something to eat as golf course is brilliant at present 9/10 for whole experience though greens 10/10
