Love this course not too long and always in good condition 1st game av played for a while but enjoyed it

for what appeared to be a relatively short course in immaculate condition the hill climbing was unexpected , however we persevered and enjoyed the day, the weather helped us get around a relatively difficult course set up.

The pro helped us to room out for some difficult holes where players /fairways crossed over, but the flow of payers on what appeared to be a busy course was great, no delays and round completed within 3 and half hours.

Clubhouse was very welcoming and exercising strictest covid guidelines, food was great !

Excellent course, well maintained and friendly welcome

amazed to find 6 par 3's and no par 5's but discovered this is quite a tight piece of land - and hilly too. The par 3's are long , often uphill and many of the 4's take 2 good blows.

My main concern was how many holes crossed over each other. There was one stretch between the 7th to the 13th where there were golfers and flying balls everywhere - relatively dangerous.

Im afraid like many course after Covid lockdown, prices have soared and I wasnt happy to pay £26 for Carnwath.

First time on course, was in really great condition, fast greens, and the rough was rough just like it should be. Easy to navigate, great signage.

Staff were really friendly.

Would highly recommend, will defo be back again

I've played here several times and always enjoyed it, today was no exception. My playing partner hadn't played before , but he was very impressed.

Course was in lovely condition but definite issues. Rough is too harsh and can’t get out of it, there are too many holes that cross over meaning you are always likely to hear fore or have to allow someone play first and it’s far too hilly. I’m fairly fit but if I took my father out I’d have to come off after 12 holes. The greens are in good condition and it’s a good challenge

I had not played the course for about 15 years when Icame regularly in works outings so my friend had bever played it before so Isuggested we play it to see if it was still as good as I had said it was back then.I can only say it was immaculate just as I had remembered it the fairways were immaculate the greens superb,the tee areas exemplary,all in all a beautifully well kept and manicured course,the ground staff should be very proud of themselves.A GEM OF A COURSE.

Overall great course. Nothing to say to fault this course. Had the most amazing day for it sun splitting the trees and got on for £16 which was great value for money. Will be returning!!!

Phones in advance to play this course got told over phone there are no winter restrictions. Showed up were told we couldn’t tee off from the tee box from some arrogant member who then followed us reving his golf buggie engine when we were trying to tee off. The member resembled magnum PI and it was very clear they did not want visitors on the course. The guy in pro shop was understanding of this and he did refund our money. Would not play here again for the simple fact of that one member.
