Excellent course condition
Fantastic course to play with ground feature challenges that enhance the game. The condition of the course was excellent, for the middle of November, course played better than most clubs in height of summer. The course is playing a winter layout, which was explained by pro in shop. As first time visitors it was slightly confusing, particularly as we followed another group of visitors who were also confused. The members group behind us were obviously frustrated with sometimes slow play, however to their credit never passed comment. Direction arrows would help. A must play course and will most certainly plan a return in summer,.
Lanark Golf Club
Nice course, booked for two people but sent out in a 4 ball, with two others , the two guys were friendly but if your looking to go out as a 2 ball then you should check as they don’t tell you until your ready for tee off.
impressive
For the time of year and current climate the course was immaculate. Can’t wait to return
Good course
Fun day, course in good condition and just the right level of difficulty. Would play again.
Great Course
Played in October and the greens and fairways were immaculate. Top class.
Lovely Course in great Condition
Lanark is a fun course with undulating holes and a wide variety of shots to play. Not a long course, but in immaculate condition and a premium on good approach play. One of the best in the area that I’ve played
Great course
We booked the first tee off after the Captais Trophy. Any fears that this would result in a slow round were quickly dispersed. Enjoyed a course in excellent condition with some cracking holes, so much so we booked to play the Sunday too!
Excellent Course
We had a lovely lunch followed by 18 holes on an excellent course in fantastic comdition
Hit the correct shot .beware!
We played after 24 hours of torrential rain course was in fantastic condition. If you can keep your tee shots on the fairways you will play to handicap but of the fairways play another balls hard to find in thick rough and heathers.Greens were fantastic also well worth the price I paid.
Simply the best
Played Lanark a few times always enjoy playing the course always great condition
A great round on a fine course.
Quality course with friendly and helpful staff. Club facilities very good for food and refreshments after round. Great value for money. Third round at this course and would recommend.
Memorable linksy moorland course - braw!
Spectacular value for a very memorable course with well manicured springy turf, true greens and some well designed holes.
Couple that with a great wee practice area, historic clubhouse and a friendly vibe and it ranks for me in my top 20 Scottish courses.
Just watch out for the hidden ditch on the 16th!
Really enjoyable
Finally played Lanark G.C. as 101st course . Great weather to play, (dry , calm & warm) after mega hot dry summer in June & July 2018. Challenging course as a first timer, but not too difficult nor too long. On a wet and windy day I'm sure it would be a brute.
