Carnwath Golf Club

Unfortunately there was frost so winter greens and the last three holes were off. Several holes cross each other and one of our group was struck with a ball whilst playing the 11th by someone playing of the ninth tee which put a bit of a damper on the round

One player in our group got hit by another golfer on another hole

This course had great reviews and I can understand why. It’s in great condition and has a bit of everything for the experienced or the high handicap player. We were made welcome and a few nice tips of how this course plays. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our round and have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

Went for a round and I can’t complain one bit . Good layout and the greens are well maintained. All in all a great day out

First of all arrived plenty of car spaces and went in to use facilities which were absolutely out of this world so clean and well maintained. Good signs telling you were things were .Thr guy in the shop who confirmed our booking was so helpful and so was some of the members we got speaking to. The course was in great condition everything tidy bins,signage ball washers in excellent condition. Can't fault it defo.be back next year in summer for playing end of September the corse was perfect

You really need to know this course to play well as lots of hills and blind shots 😎 Greens were good condition very fast ⛳

I recently took up golf and while I was worried about staff and other players not being patient with beginners I couldn’t have been further from the truth.

Staff were very helpful, welcoming and informative. Other players around the course were also very patient and polite with me

Carnwrath is an excellent golf course with top class greens. Course layout is good. Interesting start with 2 par 3’s and finish of a par 5 and a long par 4. I would highly recommend to anyone from beginner to advanced. It’s not a long course but has its challenges, combined with amazing views.

Been playing courses all over lanarkshire looking for a club to join and carnwath has got to be my favourite, hopefully can get a membership for next season!

A first class experience at Carnwath GC. A friendly welcome from everyone we spoke to at the clubhouse and the members on the course. Brian couldn’t do enough for us in the clubhouse, which was greatly appreciated. The course itself has an excellent variety of holes, with elevated tees and greens. It’s not particularly long however it did provide a good test. The greens we’ve in fantastic condition as was the rest of the course. Well worth a visit.

Course was in fantastic condition, having played it before, I would say its perfect.

Green were pristine and not a word could be said badly about it.

Carnwath was in excellent condition; Nice fqirways, with greens true and fast. Pro in the shop was very friendly. Definitely recommend it.

Good course which is well looked after. It’s quite out of the way but worth a visit. Great views also.
