Good value for money
Enjoyed my first round here. Course was in good condition overall, albeit the greens were little bumpy and tee boxes needed a bit of TLC. Some interesting holes with sloping fairways and small greens, and frequent elevation changes. I found myself using most of the clubs in my bag, which is always nice. A few too many blind shots, and no par 5s, but on the whole a pleasant course to play that’s certainly good value for money
Nice course but got lost
Would have got 5 stars if it wasn't for the fact we got lost and managed to miss out 5 holes, played the last 4 twice to compensate. The flags and tee boxes aren't numbered which was the problem, also no sign posts to next tee, been looking at the map as still don't know where or what 5 holes we missed.
Other than that great time with my mate and the course was perfect for what we required, will return.
Great course
Played this course on Friday used to play a lot here but got membership elsewhere, anyways played yesterday and course was really good underfoot conditions wer good even after bad weather we had ended up playing with a member here made me feel so welcome jimmy was really friendly and helped me understand rules here definitely would recommend.
Value for money
£12 for 18 holes is a good deal. Generally well kept room for improvement in terms of litter near tee off areas. Not too challenging a beginner like myself.
Great Surprise
I last played the course some years ago but was very impressed with it from what it us to be till now Wow I was so impress I joined it must be the cheapest around this area the greens are superb fairways good the green keeping staff are doing a grate job it has been taken over by David Lloyd leisure group and Scotty the pro is excellent with his knowledge and help give it a try and see for your self.
Good green
Good greens tight hilly course pro shop avoid the venting machine no locker room so no were to change your shoes or clothing
Poor
Went for a round by myself. After second hole was held up but 3 groups of golfers 2/3/3 balls. Had to near enough force my way through the 2 ball to be then held up up to the 8th when i decided enough was enough. Way to many people playing too close together. Would recommend through the week but will never return on a wekend.
Decent wee course
Pro’s-
It’s cheap to play
It’s easy to get to
It’s short
Con’s-
Too many blind approach shots
It’s hilly
ALL the greens are the same small size and shape
Lack of features
It’s short
Played the course many times but this was the first time in 2years the course is very good and was busy but overall was a good course I'm going back tomorrow with my friends
Value for money
My brother and I have recently started playing again and whilst we have joined somewhere like to play on other courses. I last played the course some years ago but was very impressed with the amenities, with it now being part of David Lloyd. Despite it being early January the course played well, with only 1 winter green in play, and conditions underfoot were fine.
The course itself it fairly short although has a few challenging holes, particularly holes 3 and 5, both longish par 3’s uphill. Great views from both however.
Decent track and excellent value for money. Also liked that tickets were checked mid round as good to know people can’t just jump on, especially given it’s location in Glasgow.
Would thoroughly recommend and will be back.
