Recreation Park 9 Golf Course

Great 9 hole. Good distance on all holes. Well manicured fairways and greens. Will return.

What a great course to play in our tribute to presidents day cup here with my father. Thanks we will be back .

Tee time was 8:22 am. All went well. There was a PGA youth group that was teeing off after us, so that eliminated the possibility of getting a replay. I failed to notice when I booked on Golf Now, that there was a three or four hour tee time gap after 8:22 am. That is not a complaint. the glitch in booking was on me. I play this course mostly during the week. The course is in good shape and the staff and golfers are very friendly.

Good pace. Took 1.5-2 hours taking my time. Course was decent. Easy to replay. Nice afternoon 9-hole. Nothing fancy.

Staff starter seem a bit overwhelmed, for a 9hole course our foursome noticed a 5some a holes ahead which slowed the play. Not a friendly attitude

This is a par 31 course with 4 par 4 holes and the rest are par 3. Hence, there will be beginners here. There are more experienced golfers that play here too though. The pace is a little slow at the start, but after the 3rd or 4th hole it gets moving just based on how the holes are laid out.

Have played Rec 18 several times... first time on Rec 9. My game was off, but the course was in excellent shape. The greens were smooth and the puts were rolling true. This course demands a lot of different shots and the rough can be spongy so fat shots were punished. The length of the holes is nice for golfers who have trouble driving over 200 yards. You can really work on short approach shots from various lies on this course.

Each hole gives a different challenge. The greens are in excellent shape. The rough is spongy.... this can make the short distances difficult for most.

Surprised at the amount of players for a Saturday around 12 noon. Pace of play excellent.

The day started cold and overcast, but by the time I got to the 1st tee, the sun came out, the first fairway was beautiful!

Every hole was in excellent shape. The greens were almost back to perfection after their spring cleaning, but still excellent. Such a great first round, so I played a second. Even better! Warm sun, challenging breezes...what more could you ask for.

As for the staff...Top Notch!

Long Beach Rec 9 is an awesome little track to play. Always good people at the course. Staff and Players are always good people. I love it

I had a tee time at 822am and was stuck behind a group of five that was walking. They averaged 22 minutes per hole and there was a huge traffic jam behind them. I could not take it after 6 holes and gave up which is unfortunate as this is one of my favorite 9 hole courses.

Course was WIDE OPEN!!! We finished in 1 hr 12 minutes...
