Kinghorn Golf Club

Great day and a very scenic course as weather was lovely

Played Kinghorn before, realised it would be relatively slow due to the amount of people playing, so was a little surprised when being pushed on by a group of old timers in a buggy. when playing golf you have to have course management and that should extend to pace of play, its not difficult, windy conditions, busy course, you're not going to speed round so cool your jets and enjoy the game, old timers soon realised and finished their round early. Kinghorn is one of my favourite courses with challenging holes, pacey greens and when the winds blow..fantastic..plus scenic views that you never tire off, so all's good

had perfect weather for the day course was in good condition found it quite hiilly all though not that long some very tricky par 3s

The staff at the course couldn't be more helpful. Made you feel welcome on arrival, moved you forward if you were ready to go and did everything they could to make your round as enjoyable as possible. The course itself isn't in the greatest state. Although it's winter the fairways were in a bit of a state from crows digging for food and the greens were sodden with sand to the point of silly. Not the longest course and not the clearest to follow hole to hole. However, pace of play was great, especially as a medal was underway. Some stunning views and some challenging holes but the green keepers need to up their game to get the best out if this course

My 2nd time at Kinghorn and even though it was really windy i enjoyed it just as much ,quickest greens we have been on all year,course in great condition and will be back soon
