About
Lochgelly Golf Club is a relatively flat parkland course with views over the Meadows, the Lomonds and the Ochills. The views are worth the price of a round alone. It is located in Fife, Scotland, the heart of golfing country. Visitors have described it as a must-play course when in the area.
The golf course kicks off with a par 5 but only 479 yards. It's the only par 5 on the course and the longest hole at Lochgelly. The course is 5,454 yards, and par is 68.
No. 3 is a par 3, but certainly not a gimme at 222 yards. There are five par 3s on the Lochgelly Golf Club course, spread out liberally, with three on the front nine and two in the back. The back nine ends with a 319-yard par 4.
Lochgelly Golf Club has a pro shop, which is well-stocked by the resident PGA Professional.

Great wee course
Played this course a, few ties over last 4 years. Today I must say it's the best condition it has been in and looks great. Staff are always friendly and welcoming facilities are there if you fancy a 19th hole wee pint ad some nice food.
Course has some tricky holes dog legs etc I liked the lay out off the back 9 and a good test. Parkland course but you need to play smart golf and think about how to play the tricker holes....

Great course even the condition was pretty good even though it was mid winter
The pro was very friendly and nothing was an issue
Small greens target golf good challenge .
Wee gem
When you play Lochgelly, visually it seems easy, pleasant and play it as you see. Not so. It’s tricky. Leaving the driver in the bag on some tees is good advice. Greens consistent with true roll. Played it couple of times now and I’ll play it a few more.
Test of short game
No long but very tricky, very small greens, over all very good
Lovely course
Booked my first ever round at Lochgelly and didn't really know what to expect, especially as it was Easter Monday. Arrived and was met by a very helpful, pleasant man in the pro shop. The course was in excellent condition and we managed to get round (2 ball) in under 3 hours. Really enjoyed the round and will certainly return at some point.
This course is fairly flat with good views
This course is fairly easy to walk on,so good for the older generation.
The day was a cold day in January,but there were plenty of places where you could find some respite from the wind making the course good to play on a cold winters day.
On the day that I played 3 greens were temporary ,and some of the main greens were hollowtined,but still good and flat to putt on.
The green staff were doing works around the course as I played ,they were very polite and showed plenty of courtesy to me as a stranger on the course,many thanks to them.
I enjoyed playing at Lochgelly,although a litle shorter than most a very good test,enjoyed my time there and getting round in just under 3 hours.
I did not have time to visit the club house so I am unable to comment.
