El Dorado Park Golf Club

The El Dorado the 19th hole. Excellent service and food was good. Thank. My Game can use some work. However, anytime with KC is good.

We were waiting and the people ahead of us were also waiting. Took us 5 hours to finish 18 holes. Some people had to leave early for other appointments.

Overall a great course. Have played it several times and the conditions and greens are always up to par. Definitely worth the money for twilight times. Friendly layout with a few tough dog leg holes. Pace of play can sometimes be a factor but not bad.

I didn't play ! My tee time was 11:40. and when i got to course at 11:00 to check in , they told me I had already checked in. After they figured out another guy had moved my time to 12:00. I said O.K. & asked for a bucket of balls to warm up. Around 11:45 I was in my cart and waiting for my name to be called to T box. About 11:50 I had notice a 3 some T off & 11:55 a 4 some pulled up to T box. So I went back inside to check if was still going out at 12. They said they moved me back to 11:40 and I was supposed to T off with that 3 some. I WAS VERY UPSET !! But I held it in . They said I could drop a ball in middle of fairway to catch up, I Refused to do that because i thought it was a inconvenience to the other golfers. So I didnt ask for my money back and Just left. It will be a while before I think about going back.

Conditions were pretty good, especially when the LB Open just happened a few weeks ago. Definitely one of my favorite local courses.

First and foremost, The Staff in the clubhouse is 100 % Great and accommodating !! With that said my group was pushed back a time or two, as there was a group of 5 or 6 foursomes, when I was in the clubhouse checking on my time as it was passed my tee time, and the gentleman was explaining about the large group ahead of me, a guy ran in and said they had another 4 some making it 6 I believe, he said okay and put that group ahead of us, so oh well it’s Friday and I didn’t have to be home, so I went along with it, the manager thanked me for being understanding, so I went back to the putting green and waited, after 10 more minutes I went inside the restaurant and got some chips and asked for a cup of ice, she gave me a 6 ounce cup of ice, I asked for a large cup, and I would pay for it, and she replied that this was the size I could have, I looked at her like she was stupid, tipped her a Buck for nothing and went out to wait to tee off, Eldo is a nice course and I looked forward to playing, my time was 12:10 , got out about 12:40, as we played about 5 holes the group 2 groups in front of us was holding up the whole course, , someone in our group said they called the marshal, so the marshal came out at hole 7 and did nothing, he stayed behind the slow group and let the rest of us stack up all day, it ended up a 6 hour round because of special treatment for the 24 person group in front of us, who apparently plays every Friday there according to the guy in our group who called the marshal and plays there on Fridays, so I’m done with the Friday play at Eldo unless you can get out before 11, good luck and hit ‘em straight !!
