St. Croix National Golf Club
About
St. Croix National Golf Course is a championship course that is tucked away amongst rolling, wooded hills. This scenic course is one of western Wisconsin's hidden gems. The undulating landscape covered with mature trees can seem intimidating but the layout was designed with spacious fairways and bailout areas that act as an excellent balance to the more challenging elements. The well conditioned greens putt fast and true, acting as a perfect complement to the beautiful scenery. There are strategically placed bunkers and water hazards coming into play but it is the topography will truly test your accuracy as well as a variety of other skills. St. Croix National G.C. also boasts a driving range perched high above a valley that collects the practice shots. It is the perfect preparation for the challenges of the golf course.

Last round?
Might have been the last round this season hear in Minnesota, the staff as always rocks they are helpful and make you feel welcome. Course was in great shape and we always look forward to playing here.
Public CC card holder. Played the course for the first time this year as part of the PCC. Course was always in great shape and the folks were always very friendly at the course and checking in. Have recommend course to several other golfers.
Great Course
Played here multiple times this past year. Always a fun course. Had an issue last time I was here with slow play (which was the first this year out of 6 or 7 rounds) and I asked and ended up playing the front 9 twice.
A tough and challenging course. On cart GPS is great, especially with the blind tee shots so you can see if there is a group ahead of you. Playing here previously definitely helps out with the layout and what club to use off of the blind tee shots. Finally hit the green this last time out on the 1st hole with my drive, and ended up with a 2-putt birdie which was fun. You use more long irons than you would think (tee on 2, tee on 5, tee on 6, tee on 9, and 11) just to make the 2nd shot playable. Definitely makes you think and plan your shots and not just reach for the big stick.
Great day
Nick, Hunter and Zac took great care of us we always enjoy playing here they are friendly attentive and want to make sure you cared for. The course is in great shape fun to play a challenge the greens were fast and pace of play was as it should be. We make this you of our most visited courses in the metro area.
Great day again
The course was in great shape today , they did plug some tee boxes but no big deal One thing I would say is that there are a lot of rude golfers everywhere pick up your trash and keep the carts off the greens what are you thinking .
Wonderful golf course
Flew over from Ireland. In town for business meetings and booked saint croix online without playing previously. Have heard a lot about this course being very tight and difficult. Based on traditional very open and wide fairway American golf, yes it is tight and difficult. From my perspective it was a great golf course and very much like a common traditional non-links course in Ireland or England.
Would recommend it to anyone, except those who are comfortable with very open golf courses that cater for those of you who are very wayward with your driver.
Repeat Offender
St. Croix National is a fun course. Yes, there are blind spots. Yes, there is on-cart GPS, and yes, carts are required (it is built on an old ski hill, after all). While it isn't my "go to" course, I've played here three times this year now (and it is usually once a year). Very easy to get to with the new St. Croix Crossing bridge. Staff was great (especially getting stung by a bee on the first hole that flew into my shirt while driving the cart to my ball). Tried to slow my pace of play down as I was out as a single and there was a threesome in front of me, which worked fairly well until the 14th. It was a near-perfect weather day so it all worked out in the end.
Hidden gem
Exceptional course not far from the twin cities. The layout is challenging, the views scenic, and the greens were in excellent condition. As a golfer who appreciates all a great course has to offer, this course is A Must Play!!
Fun Course
Course was in great condition, greens were fast and in nice shape. Pro staff excellent. I brought friend along, to fill out our foursome, that had not play ed the course before. He commented a number of times on the scenic quality as well as the challenging aspects. He also liked the tag line: " it take balls to play this course"
Only complaint was food/bar service. We called from 9th hole, took 20 minutes from the time we arrived to pick up hot dogs and sodas. Marshall then told us we were 20 minutes behind pace on hole 11.
Saint Croix National
Difficult course to play for first time. Many blind shots.
Hello, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are sorry to see that your overall experience was anything short of 5 stars, but we hope you'll give St. Croix National another try in the near future with a better understanding of the layout.
Another great outing
As usual Saint Croix National Golf Course didn’t let us down, great layout great shape for the season.
Nick and the staff as usual are inviting and cared that all was well. We love the challenge this course has to offer and we make it one of go to’s.
Beautiful course!
This is a beautiful course but challenging! There are many blind shots off the tee that make it difficult the first time playing the course. Slow play due to a fivesome in front of us.
Hi johnpaz. Thank you for taking the time to review the course. We take single star feedback very serious at our course. You are welcome to comment further or reach out to our team in the golf shop. We always appreciate the feedback. Thank you for playing St. Croix National Golf Club.
