Troon Links - Fullarton

About
The Troon Links - Fullarton sits just minutes from Royal Troon Golf Club's links and comes in at a relatively short 5,000 yards, making it appropriate for newer golfers or a quick warm-up.
The Troon Links - Fullarton is uplands links and features narrow fairways that undulate and are guarded by heather and gorse. The long hole comes first, measuring 434 yards, and six par-3 holes require precision rather than power.
Many golfers golf the Troon Municpal Fullarton Course in tandem with Lochgreen or Darley. Others, such as women and short-gamers, choose just these 18 holes.

Nice
Good course would definitely recommend fairways could be doing with some work but other than that great short course to build confidence will play again
Fullerton
Decided to book a last minute round at Fullerton , as I’d played these three courses growing up and they never disappoint .
Council run golf course and there’s three to choose from.
Friendly welcome at reception , bar and lounge .pro shop and big putting green to get a feel for links golf .
Fullerton offers a good selection holes , not the longest but a great course nevertheless , the greens as ever are first class .
Links golf at its very best .
Ideal for beginners
Played for the first time yesterday and it's an ideal course for beginners or players still early in their golfing career. Some very short par 4s help with scoring.
The course was very dry considering the amount of rain in the area lately and was in decent condition for the time of year.
Only fault would be that the holes could be doing with being better indicated as I would have struggled to find the next holes without the 18birdies app.
Skip
Excellent tidy course and only one winter ⛳️ although more by the time we where finishing our round.
Good course for those just starting out
I played the Fullerton course for the first time with my son we are both just starting out the course we have been playing isn't the best & could do with better up keep but after our round at the first weekend in November we thourily enjoyed our experience the greens were very well kept our only thing I would say could be improved on is the upkeep of some of the fairways, there were quite a few large divots which could do with being filled in but apart from that minor thing we both had a great day's golf & would definitely book another round soon
Great little course
Dry and interesting. Not to busy either. Very fun course although short it's still enjoyable
Simple but fun..
Always wanted to give links golf a try and as someone who is relatively new to the game this course was recommended to me.
Staff were lovely and welcoming also showed me where everything was, so hats off to them.
The course itself was in a whole, good, the fairways were in a good condition but did see a few too many animal burrows but the greens were in fantastic shape . Unfortunately as this is my first experience of links I couldn’t compare it to anything.
I went out around lunchtime so this seemed to be the same time as the ladies prefer to go out, so pace was a little slow but they were kind enough to let me play through.
I will come back if I can get another hot deal from GolfNow as it was only £17 for the round.

Great course, short but still challenging as you still need to do the job.
Troon
Always seem to score with the cracking weather in troon . Course was in good condition . Could be better signed tee boxes was the only let down .
Very well maintained greens
The only reason the wuality of fullarton gets 4 stars is because of the fairways not being the best
But the greens are almost worth the 5 stars alone
I will definitely be back
