Beware of the charges lurking in the hot deal.
I paid 69 dollars again because the golf course told me to pay again for the cart for the reservation for 4 people with a hot deal.He told Golfnow the truth. He returned only $15 because it was a hot deal.Beware of the deals lurking in the hot deal.
They don’t honor GN Hot Deals
They made me pay for a cart even though the hot deal said cart included. Gave me some bs reason about how GN is charging the wrong amount. Ended up paying more for the round through GN than I would’ve if I went straight through them. Condition of the greens were terrible. Worse than a dog track. Some greens were slow, others were rock hard with dirt patches and punched holes. It was just a poorly maintained course. Most definitely will never be back unless someone offers me a free round. Then I will reluctantly accept.
Horrible service
When I checked in I was told the price I paid on GolfNow was not right. That the price that included a cart was not enough to cover the cart. They lady starting getting upset at me. Like it was my fault. I've never been treated like that before from a Club House. The pace of play was horrible also. I was on a 6 hour pace at 9 holes. I ended up leaving. The ambassador was hitting shots behind us instead of getting people going. I will never play here again. Don't waste your money if you're looking for a Good time Long Beach Rec 18 is just not it.
Over wetered
Mud and very soft ground through out course. Also very hot, you think they would have a beverage cart to hydrate the golfers.
Course Great Golf Now Not
Booked a "Hot Deal" w/ a cart. Get to the course and they charge me for a cart as well because Golf Now doesnt have the right pricing for carts. Now I have to go to golfNow for a refund.
Very slow & hot deal
I already prepaid including cart with a hot deal, but I had to pay cart fee on the course, so I showed a picture of the confirmation that I already paid with cart fee, but I told you to consult with Golf Now. Please explain to me and return the fee.
Slow play
Need marshal out on course that will tell groups to pick up pace and do something if they don’t
Horrible Customer Service
I book a hot deal that clearly included a cart. When I check in they would not honor the cart and were very rude about it. I showed the confirmation which showed the cart was included. They then went on to take zero responsibility and blame golfnow. I have booked close to 100 rounds with this never happening.
Very disappointed in how this went down.
