Apple Mountain Golf Resort

It’s just like a beautiful fall weather with blue sky, a few white cloud patches floating, colorful falling leaves, chirping birds and running squirrels. Just beautiful scenery alone was worth of driving up some 56 miles to this mountain golf course. Reminded me of playing in the mountain courses in Georgia and Carolinas some 20 years ago. I didn’t get a good score and a single birdie because the greens were quite challenging with undulating surface with fast slope. The bunkers needed some raking and some areas of the fairways needed maintenance. The pro shop staff was very friendly and courteous. The course is quickly coming back to those good days for golfing of pre-Covid-19’s.

Awesome views with elevated tees and greens. Very challenging to keep ball in play. Cart path only due to way fairways in line tree shadow turned into 5-hours. Brenda on great sharp p or and difficult slopes.

Got a round in between rain storms so cart-path only…didn’t mind, beautiful surroundings - took about 5 hours. Really nice staff.

It was tough to get to golf course with road construction & High season for Apple Hill, now fast way to get to golf course, played behind a slow group which made it somewhat frustrating. But, we got 18 in before sunset.

This is a bit out of the way but it’s a gorgeous course. Great staff. Nice breakfast and lunch restaurant. Hard to find anything better for the cost.

Played Apple Mountain on many different occasions. In the past but the first in three years since playing this awesome track. The greens where exceptional speedy and very undulated in perfect rolling condition that I have experienced in the past at Apple Mountain. The fairways where in superior condition with the ruff being very penalizing if not in the short grass. Overall condition of the golf course was total perfection with very undulated greens that rolled like PGA speeds with no imperfections what so ever! Golf course was wide open on this weekday afternoon, a definite must play by any level of golfer, definitely one of my favorite tracks to play!

Took over 6 hour to play 18 holes. Had a marshals. But did nothing to get group moving

I’ve played Apple Mountain quite a few times over the years but first time this year; the course was in very good shape. Greens were in great condition - a little bit slower than in the past which was a good thing. Like always staying in the fairway is paramount. Almost every hole has trouble; a tough course but can score well if you don’t lose many balls (that can be a big if). Gorgeous trees and scenery. Worth the drive.

One of the best challenges especially off the fairway.

The course has a wonderful layout with challenging turns and plenty of elevation changes. With greens in great shape this course is a lot of fun to play. Not to mention the wild life we saw on the course was spectacular. Must of saw over a dozen deer.
