Apple Mountain Golf Resort

Beautiful flowers in full bloom and the deer family jumping over the fairways and even the wild mama turkey dragging her chicks. Took me back to Northern Europe that I vacationed several years ago. Needs beverage cart on the course. Greens were deceptively slow due to probably over growing grass. Fairways have improved over last month.

Being Wednesday afternoon, the course was not crowded so the pace of the play was excellent, completed the round in less than 4 hours. My wife had two birdies, beating me mercilessly. Thanks GolfNow for your good work getting this premier golf course.

This is a tough course. Each hole is interesting with elevation changes, dog legs and water hazards. The greens had been punched a few weeks ago so were bumpy. I am going to play again in two weeks and greens will be perfect.

My son and I played here for the first time. I had heard good things. Although the course was a bit wet, it was in great shape. Surrounded by a Forrest, the tranquility was inspiring. The course has a tremendous amount of elevation changes. There are uphill and downhill holes. The putting greens were in pretty good shape too. The only thing I would advise is for golfers who have mobility issues not play it.. I am looking to play it again soon. BTW, there was still some snow on the edges of some holes. It is a beautiful course!!!!!

I love this course. Will be back again after the rainy season. Still a little wet in most spots, but all in all a great course. Especially if you the hot deal.

Little wet but typical mountain course in winter season...other than that great layout good tee box and green.

The course is in just excellent shape for this time of year - particularly the greens. Congrats to the grounds crew.

Everytime I play this course I think I'm going to outthink it. Never happens! But, what a fun course to play. Always presents an interesting shot the way I play. I guess if one could follow the course guide perfectly, it would be much easier. What fun would that be? I highly recommend this course.

a little cool in the morning, but very nice by the 3rd tee box. Love to play this course in winter time. I live in Tahoe , so its only a short 40 min drive from house.

Tough course even tougher when wet/cart/path only.

Still playable as length is not biggest need. Great price the great equalizer!

Bring a jacket, and prepare for a wild game. Up and down, double dog legs, canyons, elevation changes, its got it all! Awesome course I will be back.

Located just pass Placerville, this mountain course is one to behold. Beautiful setting on each and every hole. Will require every shot that you have and then some. Constant elevation changes with left and right turns. If you enjoy golf with scenery this is it. A must to come back and play.

I am a beginner golfer so I found the course difficult but I enjoyed myself and would play it again. Beautiful day and great time was had. I would recommend the Course.

Beautiful mountain course that is very challenging due to the elevation changes. Fast greens combined with the varying slopes of the greens definitely added some strokes to my score. Great variety of elevated greens and some great down hill shots as well. You will enjoy this course.
